The Difference Between In-Situ and Ex-Situ Conservation is that In-situ conservation is the conservation of species in a natural habitat that help to live in a natural population and Ex-situ conservation means removing endangered species from their natural habitat and protecting them in a manmade environment. To gather resources for sustainable development, biodiversity must be protected and managed. The three goals of biodiversity protection are to maintain the variety of species, sustainable use of ecosystems and species, and protect vital ecological processes and systems that support life.

Endangered species are protected from their predators by in-situ conservation. Ex-situ conservation provides defence against all dangers. Both conservation methods are distinct from one another and significant in their own right.
