The Indian Army TGC apply online will be activated on 11th May 2022, the candidates must fill in the application form before the last date. The candidates will be able to fill in their applications till 9th June. Step 5: Next, candidates filled in all the details like name, age, mobile number, email id, parents' name, Adhaar number, etc., on the registration page, and after that, they clicked on the submit to proceed further.

Step 6: After that, candidates clicked on the  Apply Online button next to Technical Graduation Course 136 

Step 7: Next, they filled in all personal and educational details correctly.

Step 8: After that, they uploaded all requisite personal and educational documents.

Step 9: Lastly, candidates clicked on the "I Agree" checkbox and hit the submit button to proceed further.

Step 10: Finally, candidates downloaded their TGC 133 Application Form 2021 and took a printout for future use.

Indian Army TGC Apply Online- Documents Required

The candidates are required to have the following original and scanned copies of the documents given below with them while filling out the TGC 136 Application Form 2022, it is highly advisable for the candidates to keep these essential documents handy.

TGC 136 Shortlisting

The eligible candidates are shortlisted for the Integrated HQ of MoD. This is the first stage of the TGC 133 Selection Process 2022. According to the final year scores received by the candidates, the final cut off list is prepared, which further leads to the draft of a separate cut off for individual branches of Engineering. The shortlisted candidates are intimated about their selection and SSB Interview centre on their email Id or contact number. After this, the selected candidates are required to go to the Indian Army's official website and select their SSB Interview date and time. 

SSB Interview

The second stage of the Indian Army TGC 136 selection process is the SSB Interview conducted during a span of 5 days duration. The candidates have to undergo different SSB Interview stages during these 5 days. This stage of the selection process is the most challenging of all. The candidates must be conversant of all the stages of the SSB interview to prepare effectively and efficiently for the same. The different stages of the TGC 136 SSB Interview have been given below. 

Screening

Under the SSB Interview, screening is the first step wherein the candidates are judged based on two different tests. The tests are:

  • Verbal and Non Verbal Test
  • PTDT 

Psychological Test

The Psychological test stage tests the candidate's mental caliber. The four different tests conducted at this stage include the following. 

  • Situation Reaction Test [SRT]
  • Self Description Test [SD]
  • Thematic Apperception Test [TAT}
  • Word Association Test [WAT]

GTO

This stage comprises 9 tasks related to group activities designed to judge a candidate's mental and physical strength and a candidate's capacity to act in a group. The 9 tasks that make up this stage are:

  • HGT (Half Group Task)
  • GPE (Group Planning Exercise)
  • GD (Group Discussion)
  • PGT (Progressive Group Task activity)
  • Command Task
  • IoT (Individual Obstacles Task)
  • Individual Lecturette
  • FGT (Final Group Task)
  • Snake race/Group Obstacle Race

Personal Interview

A personal interview is conducted to evaluate a candidate on multiple grounds closely. Some judgment parameters include general knowledge, personality traits, emotional quotient, communication skills, body language, alertness, communication skills, and other significant criteria. 

Conference

This is the last round of the SSB Interview stage. This round is used to cross-check if the candidate fits all parameters for selection. 

TGC 136 Medical Examination

The final selection stage of the Indian Army TGC 136 Selection Process 2022 involves a Medical Examination. The candidates clearing the SSB Interview will be eligible for the medical test. The Indian Army Appoints a team of Independent doctors who conduct the Medical Examination of the candidates selected. The candidates who are medically fit as per the Indian Army's prescribed standards are chosen. The candidates found 'unfit in the medical examination of such candidates shall be rejected on medical grounds. 

Indian Army TGC Eligibility Criteria

Indian Army TGC 136 Eligibility- Nationality

As per the Indian Army TGC 136 eligibility criteria 2022, the candidates must fit the prescribed eligibility criteria to be able to proceed to the next levels of the selection process. Take a look at the criteria centering on Nationality.

  2. A subject of Nepal
  3. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and East African Countries of Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, Zambia, Vietnam, Zaire, Ethiopia, and the United Republic of Tanzania to permanently settle in India

Candidates belonging to categories B and C mentioned above must hold a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. However, for candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal, the Certificate of eligibility will not be necessary. All candidates for whom the Certificate of eligibility is mandatory must attach such a certificate to their application.

Indian Army TGC 136 Age Limit

To apply for the Technical Graduate Course 133, a candidate must be at least 20 years of age and should not be more than 27 years of age. This means their birthdate must be between 02.07.1994 & 01.07.2001, including both dates. To verify the age of the candidate, the Army shall consider the matriculation certificate. 

TGC 136 Minimum Educational Qualification

As per the Indian Army TGC 136 eligibility norms, candidates with a completed Engineering Degree or in their final year/semester of the Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply for TGC 136. The final year/Semester candidates of the Engineering degree course have to submit the evidence of passing the Engineering Degree Examination along with mark sheets of all semesters/years by 01 July 2021. If they fail to do so, their candidature shall be subject to disqualification. Candidates who have backlogs will not be permitted to sit for SSB interviews.

TGC 136 Training Process 2022

Technical Graduate Course 136 is 49 weeks of training conducted at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. The government shall pay candidates Rs. 11952/week during this period. However, withdrawing from the training during this period shall cause the candidate to refund the whole expense.

Indian Army TGC 136 Commission

Three commissions are available for grant to the students who opted for the Indian Army Technical Graduate Course (TGC) 136, to get the complete details of the same. According to the completion of the training process or seniority, candidates will be allotted the commission. The list is given under:

Grant of Commission: On successfully qualifying for the probation period of lieutenant rank from the beginning of the Technical Graduate Course at IMA, this short commission is granted. Along with this, officers are being paid the permissible pay scale of Lieutenant and other allowances. 

Permanent Commission: After successful completion of training at IMA Dehradun, Permanent Commission is granted.

Ante Date Commission: After completing 1 year of antedate from the date of being commissioned as Lieutenant, candidates are granted the Ante Date Commission.
