1. PC for Men:
Candidates joining as officers of the PC would continue to serve their branch and rank until the age of retirement.
2. SSC for Men & Women:
The commitment period for SSC officers of the Flying Branch is fourteen years from the commissioning date (Non-extendable).
The initial tenure in Ground Duty (Tech and Non-Tech) branches for SSC officers would be for a ten-year period. Subject to service requirements, vacancies, willingness, suitability, and merit, an extension of four years may be granted.
