    a. a feeling of deep anxiety or dread, typically an unfocused one about the human condition or the state of the world in general.
    b. a feeling of persistent worry about something trivial.
  • Synonyms: apprehension, worry, distress, unease
  • Antonyms: comfort, calmness, assurance
  • Use in a Sentence: Indulging in angst about the unfairness of it all will just make the problem worse.

3. Word: Credence (विश्वसनीयता)

  • Meaning:
    a. belief in or acceptance of something as true.
    b. the likelihood of something being true; plausibility.
    c. a small side table, shelf, or niche in a church for holding the elements of the Eucharist before they are consecrated.
  • Synonyms: trust, belief, confidence, faith, reliance
  • Antonym: distrust, disbelief, uncertainty, suspicion
  • Usage in a sentence: I'm afraid I don't put much credence in common gossip.

4.  Word: Trigger (सक्रिय करना)

  • Meaning: cause (a device) to function.
  • Synonyms: activate, spark, initiate
  • Antonyms: halt, block, deactivate 
  • Usage in a Sentence: Some people notice that certain foods trigger their headaches.

5. Word: Escalation (तेजी)

  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: a rapid increase; a rise.
  • Synonyms: rise, hike, advance
  • Antonyms: decrease, reduction
  • Usage in a sentence: The reorganization has led to a dramatic escalation in costs.

6. Word: Aftermath (परिणाम)

  • Meaning:
    a. something that results or follows from an event, especially one of a disastrous or unfortunate nature; consequence

    b. a mental picture of a future or anticipated event. (Noun)

    d. chances or opportunities for success or wealth. (Noun)
    e. search for mineral deposits, especially by drilling and excavation. (Verb)
  • Synonyms: expectation, perspective, outlook, view, possibility
  • Antonyms: doubtfulness, retrospect
  • Usage in a Sentence: She is excited by the prospect of returning to school.

8.  Word: Perilous (संकटपूर्ण)

  • Pronunciationper-uh-luhs/ पेरीलस
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning:
    a. full of danger or risk.
    b. exposed to imminent risk of disaster or ruin.
  • Synonyms: dangerous, hazardous, risky, precarious
  • Antonyms: safe, harmless, secure, cautious
  • Usage in a sentence: The migratory birds fly to Turkey and attempt the perilous journey across the Mediterranean to Europe.

9. Word: Assuage  (शांत करना) 

  • Pronunciation: as-suage/
  • Part of speech: noun 
  • Meaning: to provide relief; causing to feel better
  • Synonyms: relieve, ease, alleviate, soothe, mitigate
  • Antonyms: intensify, aggravate, agitate
  • Usage in a sentence: In an effort to assuage angry customers, the store issued everyone a full refund.

10. Word: Perish (नष्ट हो जाना)

  • Pronunciation: per-ish/ पेरिश
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning
    a. die, especially in a violent or sudden way.
    b. suffer complete ruin or destruction.
    c. (of rubber, food, etc.) lose its normal qualities; rot or decay.
  • Synonyms: expire, die, pass away, depart, succumb
