    b. (of a thing) in terminal decline; lacking vitality or vigour.
  • Synonyms: dying, stagnant, weak

4. Word: Insurgency (विद्रोह)

  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Pronunciation: in-sur-juh n-see/इन्सर्जन्सी
  • Meaning: a. an active revolt or uprising.
  • Synonyms: rebellion, mutiny, revolution
  • Antonyms: compliance, obedience

5. Word: Diaspora (प्रवासी)

  • Pronunciation: dahy-as-per-uh/ डाइऐस्पोरा
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning:
    a. the dispersion or spread of any people from their original homeland.
    b. people who have spread or been dispersed from their homeland.
  • Synonyms: migration, dissolution, dispersal, separation, banishment
  • Antonym: concentration
  • Usage in a sentence: When it is explored in-depth, our cuisine reveals the nuances of regions and peoples and those of diaspora and return.

6. Word: Sporadic (छिट पुट)

  • Pronunciation: spuh-rad-ik/स्पोरैडिक

  • Meaning:
    a. occurring at irregular intervals or only in a few places; scattered or isolated.
  • Synonyms: occasional, infrequent, irregular, periodical
  • Antonyms: frequent, constant, ceaseless, seasonal

7. Word:  Allegation (अभिकथन)

  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning - a claim or assertion that someone has done something illegal or wrong, typically one made without proof
  • Synonyms - accusation, charge
  • Antonyms - exculpation, denial
  • Usage in a sentence- The professor made an allegation of cheating against his student.

8. Word: Infiltrate (घुसपैठ करना)

  • Pronunciation: in-fil-treyt/ इन्फिल्ट्रेट 
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning: enter or gain access to (an organization, place, etc.) surreptitiously and gradually, especially in order to acquire secret information.
  • Synonyms: penetrate, permeate, enter, insinuate, pervade
  • Antonyms: seal, stamp, block
  • Usage in a Sentence: Attempts to infiltrate undercover agents into the gang have failed.

9. Word: Ceasefire (युद्धविराम)

  • Pronunciation: sees-fahyuh r/ सीसफाइअर

  • Meaning: a temporary suspension of fighting.
  • Synonyms: truce, armistice, peace
