  • Use in Sentence: The tiger escaped from the zoo and ran amok for hours.

 3.  Word: Bona fide (प्रामाणिक)

  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Pronunciation: bona-fide
  • Meaning: 
    a.  genuine; real.
  • Synonyms: authentic, genuine, real, true, actual, sterling
  • Antonyms: corrupt, doubtful, implausible, false
  • Use in a Sentence: Make sure you are dealing with a bona fide company which is registered as per the norms.

4. Word: Probe (जांच करना)

  • Pronunciation: prohb/ प्रोब
  • Part of Speech: Noun, Verb 
  • Meaning: 
    a. a thorough investigation into a crime or other matter. [Noun]
    b. explore or examine (something), especially with the hands or an instrument. [Verb]
  • Synonyms: scrutinize, inquiry
  • Antonyms: glimpse, absurd
  • Usage in a Sentence: I don't want to probe too deeply into your personal affairs.

5. Word: Condemn (दंडनीय घोषित करना)

  • Pronunciation: kuhn-dem/ कन्डेम
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning: 
    a. express complete disapproval of; censure.
    b. sentence (someone) to a particular punishment, especially death.
  • Synonyms: denounce, blame, criticize
  • Antonyms: approve, pardon, absolve

6. Word: Queer (विचित्र, समलैंगिक, धोखा देना)

         a. refuse to accept; reject.

         b. deny the truth or validity of.

  • Synonyms: refuse, denounce, reclaim
  • Antonyms: accept, allow, embrace

8. Word: Searing (दिलों को भेदने)

  • Pronunciation: Sear-ing
  • Part of Speech:  Adjective
  • Meaning
    a. extremely hot or intense

9. Word: Stern (कठोर या निर्दय)

  • Meaning:
    a. firm, strict, or uncompromising:
    b. rigorous or austere; of an unpleasantly serious character:
  • Synonyms: hard, harsh, severe

10. Word: Persecution (उत्पीड़न)

  • Pronunciation: pur-si-kyoo-shuh n/ पर्सक्यूशन
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning
    a. hostility and ill-treatment, especially because of race or political or religious beliefs; oppression.
    b. persistent annoyance or harassment.
  • Synonyms: abuse, oppression, torment, harassment, cruelty
  • Antonyms: protection, stimulation, charity, benevolence
  • Usage in a Sentence: The marginalization and persecution of the Roma and Sinti did not end with the war’s conclusion.
