3. Word:  Manoeuvre (पैंतरेबाज़ी करना).

  • Pronunciation: muh-noo-ver/मनूवर
  • Part of Speech: Noun, Verb
  • Meaning:
    a. move skilfully or carefully.
    b. carefully guide or manipulate (someone or something) in order to achieve an end.
  • Synonyms: artifice, manipulate
  • Antonyms: innocence, sincerity
  • Usage in a Sentence: His resignation from the competition was a tactical manoeuvre.

 4. Word: Ebullient (उल्लासित)

  • Pronunciation: ih-buhl-yuh nt/ इबल्यन्ट
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: cheerful and full of energy. (Adjective)
  • Synonyms: exuberant, vivacious, lively, excited
  • Antonyms: apathetic, disinterested, unenthusiastic, crestfallen
  • Usage in a Sentence: The Prime Minister was in ebullient mood.

5. Word: Grim (ख़राब)

  • Pronunciation: grim/ग्रिम
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning: 
    a. very serious or gloomy.
    b. (especially of a place) unattractive or forbidding.
  • Synonyms: gloomy, bleak
  • Antonyms: cheerful, compassionate
  • Usage in a Sentence: When he lost his job, his future looked grim.

6. Word: Dispel (दूर करना)

  • Pronunciation: dih-spel / डिस्पेल
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning: make (a doubt, feeling, or belief) disappear.
  • Synonyms: disperse, banish, disappear
  • Antonyms: accumulate, assemble, gather

7. Word: Dither (दुविधा में होना)

  • Pronunciation: dith-er/डिदर
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:
    a. to be unable to make a decision about doing something
  • Synonyms: hesitate, vacillate, flap
  • Antonyms: conclude, decide, resolve
  • Usage in a sentence: He accused the government of dithering over the deal.

8. Word: Benign (सौम्य)

  • Pronunciation: be-nine/बिनाइन
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning  - having no significant effect/gentle and kind/not harmful 
  • Synonyms -  temperate, mild, gentle, clement, calm, balmy, pleasant
  • Antonyms -  unfriendly, hostile harsh, unhealthy, unfavourable
  • Usage in a sentence - The eco-friendly company will only drill for oil in areas where its practices are benign.

9. Word: Abate (कम करना)

  • Pronunciation: uh-beyt/अबेट
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning
    a. to become less strong
    b. (Law)to put an end to or suppress (a nuisance)
    c. (Law)to suspend or extinguish (an action)
    d. to deduct or subtract
    e. to omit
  • Synonyms: lessen, diminish, decrease, reduce
  • Antonyms: increase, intensify, enhance
  • Usage in a sentence: The storm has started to abate.

10. Word: Reticent (कम बोलने वाला)

  • Pronunciationret-uh-suhnt/ रेटिसन्ट
  • Part of Speech: Adjective
  • Meaning:
    a. reluctant to draw attention to yourself
    b. cool and formal in manner
    c. temperamentally disinclined to talk
  • Synonyms: reserved, taciturn, withdrawn
  • Antonyms: chatty, loquacious, garrulous 
  • Usage in a sentence: She remained reticent despite facing much criticism for something she didn't even do.
