  • Pronunciation: an-tag-uh-nis-tik / ऐन्टैगनिस्टिक

  • Meaning: showing or feeling active opposition or hostility towards someone or something.
  • Synonyms: hostile, unfriendly, contrary
  • Antonyms: friendly, peaceful, kind
  • Usage in a sentence: He is always antagonistic towards new ideas.

4. Word: Dispense (प्रदान करना)

  • Pronunciation: डिस्पेन्स/dih-spens 
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning:
    a. to give out things, especially products, services, or amounts of money
    b. to provide something such as a service, money, or information
  • Synonyms: distribute, allot, dole out
  • Antonyms: receive, abduct, beg
  • Usage in a sentence: There is a vending machine on the platform that dispenses snacks.

5.  Word: Wield (उपयोग करना)

  • Pronunciation: weeld/ वील्ड
  • Part of Speech: Verb
  • Meaning: have and be able to use (power or influence).
  • Synonyms: handle, exert, utilize
  • Antonyms: conceal, flip
  • Usage in a sentence: Though the central banks wield enormous power, we should not overstate their ability to shape the economy in the long run.

6. WordReinstate (बहाल करना)

  • Pronunciation: ree-in-steyt/ रीइन्स्टेट

  • Meaning: restore (someone or something) to their former position or state.
  • Synonyms: restore, return, replace
  • Antonyms: fire, repeal, annul

7. Word: Steer (हानि पहुंचाना)

  • Pronunciation: steer/स्टीर
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning: a piece of advice or information concerning the development of a situation.

8. Word: Assurance (प्रतीति)

10. Word: Invasion (आक्रमण)

  • Pronunciation: in-vey-zhuh n/ इन्वेश़न
  • Part of Speech: Noun
  • Meaning
    a. an instance of invading a country or region with an armed force.

    c. an incursion by a large number of people or things into a place or sphere of activity.
