2. GST collection over Rs 1.42 lakh crore in March 2022
- The gross collection of GST has touched an all-time high of over 1,42,095 cr in March 2022.
- The government has collected CGST is 25,830 crore rupees, SGST is 32,378 crores, IGST is 74,470
- In March 2022, revenues from the import of goods were 25% higher, and the revenues from the domestic transaction were 11% higher than in the same month last year.

3. Bangladesh signed agreement with the Adani group for Indian Economic Zone
- The Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) has signed a deal to set up an Indian Economic Zone with the Adani Ports and SEZ Limited.
- The Indian Economic Zone (IEZ) will be set up at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar (BSMSN) in Mirsarai of Chattogram.

4. Covid new mutant XE detected in the UK
- According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) report, the new covid variant XE was first detected in the United Kingdom in January 2022.

6. Meghalaya will host 83rd National Table Tennis Championships 2022

7. Aprajita Sharma appointed as vice-chairperson ITU
- India's Aprajita Sharma has been appointed as a vice-chairperson of the Standing Committee on Administration and Management of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

- She is also selected as chairperson for the years 2025 and 2026.

8. Uttar Pradesh tops the list of India's largest vegetable producer
- Uttar Pradesh has become the largest producer of vegetables in India, followed by West Bengal, Bihar, and Maharashtra in 2021–22 Crop Year (CY) (July–June).
