3. Covid champion award to Cochin International Airport Ltd
- The Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has received the 'Covid champion' award at Wings India 2022.
- Wings India is an Asia's largest event on civil aviation, jointly organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and FICCI at the Begumpet airport in Hyderabad.
- CIAL was selected for this award for successfully implementing of a meticulous project named 'Mission Safeguarding' during the pandemic time.

4. Anurag Thakur launched TEJAS skilling project in UAE
- Union Minister Shri Anurag Thakur has launched Training for Emirates Jobs and Skills (TEJAS), a Skill India International Project to train overseas India.
- The project aimed to create pathways for Indian work force to get equipped for skills and market requirements in the UAE.
- Tejas aims at creating a 10,000 strong Indian workforce in UAE during the initial phase
- The Dubai Expo commenced in October last year with the participation of 192 countries.

5. Railway lifts Obaidullah Khan Hockey Cup
- Indian Railways’ men Hockey team won the Obaidullah Khan Heritage Hockey Cup held at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
- CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the tournament at Major Dhyanchand Stadium, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
- Arjun, player of Railway’s was adjudged Man of the Tournament.
- Obaidullah Gold Cup was started in year 1931.
- It was last played in year 2016.
- Last time, in the year 2016, the tournament was won by BPCL and Railways team was runners up.

- The Hazira Industrial Area, Surat has got the first 'steel road' which is made up of steel waste.
- The road was built with 100 % processed steel slag.

7. Wilfried Brutsaert wins the Stockholm Water Prize 2022
- The eminent hydrologist Wilfried Brutsaert has been awarded with the Stockholm Water Prize 2022.
- He received this prestigious award for his groundbreaking work to quantify environmental evaporation, helping to make accurate predictions of the impact that climate change has on local rainfall patterns and water sources.
- He is also known as 'Mr Evaporation'.

10. DRDO conducted successfully test-fires two of MRSAM at Chandipur
- DRDO has conducted two successful flight tests of Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM) at Integrated Test Range, Chandipur off the coast of Odisha.
- This MRSAM is a Surface-to-Air Missile developed which is jointly by DRDO and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
- The MRSAM Army weapon system includes multi-function radar, mobile launcher system and other vehicles.
