1. Antim becomes first Indian woman wrestler to win Gold at U-20 World C’ships
- Wrestler Antim Panghal (17) has become the first Indian woman wrestler to win Gold medal at Under-20 World Wrestling Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria.
- She has defeated Atlyn Shagayeva of Kazakhstan in 53kg category.
- She belongs to Bhagana village in the Hisar district, Haryana.
- Two-time U17 world champion, Sonam Malik had to settle for silver after losing to Nonoka Ozaki in the final of the 62kg category.
- In the 65kg category, Priyanka had settled for silver.

2. Assam government launched ‘School on Wheels’ for economically weaker kids
- Assam CM, Himanta Biswa Sarma has launched the “Vidya Rath: School on Wheels” project to bring the economically weaker children under the ambit of the conventional education system.
- This project envisaged providing access to underprivileged children to elementary education for 10 months.
- After 10 months, the children will be integrated into the conventional system of education.
- The students will be provided free uniforms, mid-day meals, and textbooks.

3. HDFC Bank opens its first all-women branch in north Kozhikode, Kerala
- Private sector bank, HDFC has opened its first all-women branch in Cherootty Road, north Kerala region in Kozhikode.
- The four women bankers branch was inaugurated by the city Corporation Mayor, Beena Philip.
- According to the bank, as of March 31, 2022, women made up 21.7% (21,486) of the total workforce.
- The private lender wants to raise it to 25% by 2025.
- The opening of the all-women branch is another effort to take forward gender and diversity initiatives of the bank

4. CPRI signs MoU with Chhattisgarh govt to set up regional testing laboratory
- The Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) has signed an MoU with the Chhattisgarh government for setting up a regional testing laboratory in Raipur district.
- The national-level testing unit will be established on an area of 10 acres in sector-30 of Nava Raipur Atar Nagar.
- Test facilities: Transformers, energy meters, transformer oil, switch fuse unit and other electricity-related equipment.
- Power companies will receive a rebate of 20% in the testing of equipment.

5. An autobiography of Netanyahu, ‘Bibi: My Story’ to be published in November
- Former prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu memoir titled, “Bibi: My Story” will be published in English and Hebrew on 22nd November.
- The English translation will be released by American publisher Simon & Schuster while the Hebrew version will be released by Shibolet Library.
- He is the longest-serving leader in the history of Israel (1996-1999; 2019 -2021).
- He presently serves as the chairman of the National Liberal Movement (Likud party).

6. India's first portal on arrested narco offenders 'NIDAAN' gets operational
- India's first database, NIDAAN (National Integrated Database on Arrested Narco-offenders) has been made operational for use by various central and state prosecution agencies tasked to enforce anti-drugs laws in the country.
- Developed by: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
- This platform will sources its data from the ICJS (inter-operable criminal justice system) and e-Prisons (a cloud-based application) repository.
- This is a part of Narcotics Coordination Mechanism (NCORD)

7. India’s first naval shooting range opened in Visakhapatnam
- Vice Admiral, Biswajit Dasgupta has inaugurated Composite Indoor Shooting Range (CISR), a first of its kind firing range for all primary and secondary weapons in the Navy, on the premises of INS Kalinga near Bheemili, Andhra Pradesh.
- The CISR is a self-contained, 25m, six lane, live firing range for all primary and secondary weapons in the Navy.
- The range has been set up to contemporary international standards by an Indian firm.

8. Former Jharkhand Governor, Syed Sibtey Razi passes away
- Senior Congress leader, Syed Sibtey Razi has been passed away in Lucknow due to heart disease.
- He had served as the governor of Jharkhand from the year 2004- 2009 and governor of Assam in 2009.
- He was born on March 7, 1939 in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh and joined joined the Youth Congress in 1969.
- He was made president of the Youth Congress in 1971 -1973.
- He was served as a member of Rajya Sabha thrice.

9. Sumit Antil, Yogesh Kathuniya set new world records in para athletics
- Paralympic medalists Javelin thrower, Sumit Antil and Discus thrower, Yogesh Kathuniya have established new world records at the 4th Indian Open National Para Athletics Championships 2022 at Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru.
- Sumit Antil has set a new record of 68.62m in Javelin throw, while Yogesh Kathuniya has set a record of 48.34m in Discus throw.
- Sumit Antil had won gold in the men’s javelin F64/44 final at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

10. Gates Foundation appoints Indian Ashish Dhawan to its board of trustees.
- The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has appointed Indian philanthropist, Ashish Dhawan (founder and CEO of Convergence Foundation), to its board of trustees.
- The foundation has also appointed Dr Helene D Gayle, president of Spelman College, US.
- Dhawan is also the chairperson of Ashoka University and Central Square Foundation.
- The Gates Foundation has been working with the Indian government and other partners since 2003 on various issues like health.
