  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the World Dairy Summit (IDF WDS) 2022 at the India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida.

  • From September 12 to 16, 2022, the four-day World Dairy Summit will be attended by about 1,500 people from 50 different nations.
  • The previous World Dairy Summit took place in 1974 in India.
  • In the year 1980, the International Dairy Agreement was founded.
  • The International Dairy Agreement's main goal is to increase and liberalize dairy product trade through international cooperation.

  • This plan will support the idea of an independent India while also giving India a competitive edge in the sector of electronics manufacturing thanks to the production-linked reward system.
  • The PLI program encompasses both the production of specialist electronic components and mobile phones.
  • Ten companies—five domestic and five foreign—will receive the advantage of the mobile manufacturing program under the PLI scheme.
  • Paget Electronics Pvt Ltd, a local company, is the first beneficiary company to get incentives under the PLI initiative for mobile manufacturing.
  • The PLI program offers a 4%–6% incentive on the net additional sales of manufactured items in order to encourage the production of electronics and draw substantial investment.
  • The PLI scheme's goal is to give businesses incentives in exchange for increasing sales of goods produced domestically.
  • PLI Schemes are significant initiatives to attract both local and foreign businesses to grow or establish manufacturing facilities in India.

  • The newly established center also offers medical services such as special education, sensory integration, occupational and physiotherapy, behavior modification, and nutritional counseling as well as advanced screening for hearing and visual impairments, detection of autism, and clinical identification of various syndromes.
  • Vatsalya, a pediatric super specialty discipline updated with a kid-friendly Walt Disney motif, is integrated with it.

National Maritime Heritage Complex to be built in Gujarat

  • In Lothal (Gujarat), the National Maritime Heritage Complex will be built to display the long maritime history of India.

Key Points:

  • The marine tradition of India is vast and diverse, and this campus is the first of its type in the country.
  • Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi lay the cornerstone for the NMHC project, and the government gave its approval for the master plan in March 2019.
  • To raise awareness among the public, the National Nautical Legacy Complex will be unveiled using the most up-to-date technologies to portray maritime heritage in a user-friendly way.
  • The Ministry has designated the renowned architecture firm M/s Hafeez Contractor as the project's lead and Indian Port, Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited, Mumbai, as the implementing agency for the effective completion of the National Maritime Heritage Complex project.
  • The National Maritime Heritage Complex will be built over several phases, including:
    • In Phase-1A, a complex of museum buildings will be constructed on 35 acres of land, together with 5 galleries and a naval gallery that will be used by the Indian Navy and Coast Guard.
    • The remainder of the museum, including the remarkable galleries, will be built during Phase-1B, together with the Light House, 5D Dome Theatre, Garden Complex, and other infrastructure.
    • State Pavilions, Lothal City, Maritime Institutes (including dormitories), Eco Resorts, Maritime and Naval Theme Parks, Climate Change Theme Parks, Memorial Theme Parks, and Adventure and Amusement Parks are all included in Phase-II.

HDFC Bank issues India's first electronic bank guarantee

  • As a result of their collaboration with National e-Government Services Limited, HDFC Bank has become the first bank in the nation to issue Electronic Bank Guarantees (e-BG) (NESL).

Key Points:

  • The new electronic bank guarantee, which can be processed, stamped, validated, and given promptly with improved security, has replaced the paper-based, time-consuming process.
  • When using an electronic bank guarantee, you can complete the physical collection from the bank, delivery to the beneficiary, stamping, and re-verification process in a fraction of the time it takes with a paper-based bank guarantee.
  • Physical stamping has been replaced with e-stamping thanks to electronic bank guarantees.
  • To streamline the procedure and remove the chance of fraud and manipulation, e-BG was developed in collaboration with NESL, CVC-CBI Committee, and IBA.
  • On the NESL site, an API-based digital workflow will be used to issue the e-BG.
  • Through its Digital Factory, Enterprise Factory, and Enterprise IT, HDFC Bank is developing new competencies to grow the bank.
  • The Bank's digital strategy includes the development of new competencies as a core tenet.

  • The largest knowledge-sharing, thought-leadership, and cybercrime investigation and intelligence summit in India were held from September 12 to September 22, 2022, and it was hosted by the Madhya Pradesh Police in collaboration with soft clicks Foundation.
  • Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal is where this program was put together.
  • On September 12, 13, and 14, 2022, a ten-day summit will take place at the RSVP Noronha Academy of Administration in Bhopal, with a three-day offline summit following.
  • Over 6000 different law enforcement, judicial, prosecutorial, and other organizations from 35 states and union territories will also have online representatives to participate in the event as presenters and subject matter experts over the course of the ten-day conference.
  • Leading technological companies will exhibit live demonstrations of their cutting-edge technology at CIIS 2022.
  • During this time, training on a variety of issues will be provided by subject specialists and presenters from the USA and other nations, including UNICEF, Interpol-Singapore, National Cybercrime Law Enforcement UK Police, National White Collar Crime Center USA, and NPA Hyderabad.
