CUET 2022 Exam Overview

The Common Universities Entrance Test is a centralised, all-Indian exam that will be administered for the first time in a completely new structure in 2022 for the academic year 2022–2023. The exam is scheduled to be held from 15th July onwards. This test is being administered by the National Testing Agency, or NTA. More than 40 central institutions and a number of different types of universities who have agreed to use CUET scores as the form of admission for their programmes will use this exam to handle undergraduate admissions.

Essential Do’s for the CUET 2022 Exam

Any student who is planning to take the CUET 2022 exam must proceed with a few crucial last-minute Dos. The list of such Dos is provided below, and you are urged to carefully read each one.

  • At the last minute, keep all of your notes organised. Also, please be precise about which books you'll be using at this point and what section of those books will be important.

  • If you want to ace the Numerical & Data Analysis section, you must be sure to have your mathematics formula sheet prepared.

  • If you are not sleeping when you should, fix your sleep cycle.

  • As a large portion of the English section of CUET 2022, you should make sure you focus diligently on expanding your vocabulary and comprehension of words and idioms.

  • Try to finish as many questions as you can before the exam since the more questions you finish, the more you'll be exposed to different question types, and the less likely it is that the actual paper will surprise you.

  • Avoid learning anything new in the final stage because this will only confuse you.

  • If you don't do well in a particular mock test, don't panic and try to analyse your mistakes.

  • Revise the topics which you are confident enough at the last moment instead of the topics in which you are weak.

FAQs on CUET 2022 Exam Do’s and Don’ts

  • The CUET 2022 exam consists of a total of three portions, and each section's weight depends entirely on the weighting that a certain university will provide to its various sections based on the course for which the score must be determined

  • From July 15th, 2022 forward, CUET 2022 will be held at numerous test centres around India.



  • Every year, the National Testing Agency, often known as the NTA, administers the CUET 2022 exam.



  • No! Carrying a calculator is not allowed at all in case of CUET 2022.



  • No! CUET 2022 doesn’t have short answer type questions apart from MCQs. It only has questions which are of the MCQ type.
