To understand the examination level properly, our BYJU'S Exam Prep experts were conversed with some of the aspirants and asked some questions related to the difficulty and the exam pattern of the CSIR NET 2020 examination. Candidates can check all the information related to the CSIR NET 2020 exam in the form of Q & A given below:

Ques 1: What was the strategy which you adopt to attempt the question paper?

Ans. Before starting the paper, I clearly thought that I would start with the Part A section. When I started attempting the questions, I found that the questions were slightly easy compared to the previous year's questions. After completing Part A, I shifted to Part B, and the questions were slightly more conceptual. Some questions were asked directly from books, and 1-2 questions were repeated. Finally, I attempted Part C, and this section was the toughest section of the question paper. It required a high-level understanding of the subject.

Ques 2: What helped you the most during the examination?

Ans. I think my notes helped me a lot while attempting the questions. I made some short notes of important concepts and preferred revising those notes. It helped me a lot while remembering the things during the examination. Revising part is the most important part during the preparation of any competitive examination.

Ques 3: According to you, what will be the Cutoff this year?

Ans. As I mentioned earlier, the questions asked in the exam were slightly easier than the previous papers, so there is a chance that the cutoff will be higher this year than the previous year.

Ques 4: Did you complete your exam on time?

Ans. Yes, I completed my exam well on time. Section C was the only section that required more time. I managed it by giving Part A and Part B less time as they were slightly easier and required less time.

Ques 5: How did you manage yourself calm during the exam?

Ans. I was confident about myself as I have completed my preparation and revise the whole syllabus before the examination. I was telling my mind that I have prepared well and I can do better in the examination. This helped me a lot during the examination.

Ques 6: What would you like to suggest to other candidates for the preparation?

Ans. I want to suggest to candidates who are in their final semester or have started the post-graduation degree that this is the perfect time to start the preparation. Try to make short notes of the concepts and revise them regularly. They can take help from the online material to prepare them well. I also preferred online material for the preparation. Always try to resolve the doubts from your faculty and attempts mock tests as much as possible. These all small things will help you a lot when you appear for the main examination.
