Council of Scientific & Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR-NET) exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) to select the eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturership Programmes. This is a National Level Test that is conducted through Online mode. This exam is conducted for the science background students under 5 subjects namely:
1. Life Sciences
2. Chemical Sciences
3. Earth Sciences
4. Mathematical Sciences
5. Physical Sciences
and the compulsory subject, i.e. General Aptitude, which will be common for all the above subjects. The exam paper consists of 3 sections; Section A, Section B, and Section C. Section A consists of 20 questions related to General Aptitude. This section will be common for all subject-specific exam papers. Out of these 20 questions, 15 questions need to be answered. Section B and Section C will consist of subject-specific questions, and the number of questions will be different for different subjects.
