Copper Cannot Displace Zinc From Its Salt Solution Give Reason

As per the periodic table of chemistry, only a more reactive metal is capable to displace a less reactive metal from its salt when exists in an aqueous solution. When there exists a solution of  Copper and Zinc, Copper is less reactive than zinc. Therefore, it cannot displace zinc from its salt solution.

Answer: Copper is less reactive than zinc therefore, it cannot displace zinc from its salt solution.

As per the reactivity series, zinc is more reactive than copper. As per this reactivity, a less reactive metal cannot replace a more reactive metal. Thus in mixture zinc can displace copper from its salt solution but copper cannot displace zinc from its salt solution.

Summary:

Copper cannot displace zinc from its salt solution give reason

Copper is less reactive than zinc therefore, it cannot displace zinc from its salt. As per this reactivity series, a less reactive metal cannot replace a more reactive metal.
