The following are the CMAT Exam 2022 highlights
- CMAT 2022 was conducted on 9th April 2022
- CMAT 2022 was being conducted in 1 shift i.e 3 PM to 6 PM
- CMAT Exam 2022 comprised a total of 100 MCQs across 5 sections- Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship
- Each correct answer would be awarded +4 marks and each incorrect answer would be penalized with -1 mark
- The overall difficulty level of the CMAT 2022 exam was Easy to Moderate

The CMAT exam 2022 consisted of 100 questions spread across 5 sections. The CMAT 2022 Exam Pattern is given below

CMAT 2022 Paper Analysis: Difficulty Level
As per the CMAT 2022 Analysis, the overall CMAT difficulty level was Easy to Moderate. The section on Innovation and Entrepreneurship was introduced in CMAT 2021 as an optional section. However, this year's CMAT 2022 Innovation and Entrepreneurship was a mandatory section. However, the level of difficulty of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship section was Easy.
As per the CMAT Exam Analysis 2022, the questions from the General Awareness section were found to be the most challenging.

CMAT Exam Analysis 2022 - Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
The Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation section consisted of 20 questions. Last year, this section consisted of 25 questions. The overall difficulty level of the CMAT 2022 Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation was Easy. It was found that questions from Arithmetic dominated this section with a total of 8 questions. The CMAT 2022 section on Language Comprehension consisted of 20 questions. CMAT 2021 consisted of 25 questions on Language Comprehension. The overall difficulty level of the CMAT Language Comprehension section 2022 was Easy. As per the CMAT Exam Analysis 2022, it was found that the majority of the questions in the CMAT Language Comprehension section were Vocab-based Questions. There was 1 RC passage consisting of 4 questions in the CMAT Language Comprehension section. The RC questions were direct and based on Vocab, the main idea and the supporting details. One of the RC questions asked was on the phrasal verb "let up". The RC was on the following topic

A few questions asked in the Language Comprehension section were:
- Choose the correct meaning of the word Veteran
- Pick the correct sentence (certainly he made a fool of himself)

The CMAT 2022 Logical Reasoning section consisted of 20 questions. However, in CMAT 2021 this section consisted of 25 questions. The overall difficulty level of this section was Easy. The CMAT 2022 General Awareness section consisted of 20 questions. The number of questions in CMAT 2022 was reduced to 20 from 25 as compared to CMAT 2021. The overall difficulty level of CMAT 2022 was Moderate to Difficult. CMAT 2022 consisted of questions from both Static GK and Current Affairs. CMAT Exam Analysis 2022- Innovation and Entreprenuership
This section was introduced in the CMAT exam in the year 2021 as an optional section. However, this year this section was compulsory for the candidates to attempt. The number of questions was reduced to 20 from 25 from the previous year. The overall difficulty level of this section was Easy. The questions focussed mostly on the aspirant's awareness of Entrepreneurship. Most (Around 15) questions were from Business Knowledge. The sectional breakup is as follows
