Educational Qualification for CLAT 2023

In order to qualify, candidates must pass the 12th-grade examination at a recognised university or board.

  • Percentage: To be eligible for CLAT 2023, General/ OBC category candidates must score 45% marks in the qualifying exam & 40% marks for SC/ ST category candidates.
  • Appearing: Candidates who take the qualifying exam are also eligible to take part in CLAT 2023. Candidates will additionally need to provide proof that they passed the prerequisite exam in this situation.

CLAT Age Limit

As per the revised rules, there is no age limit for CLAT 2023. If the candidates fulfil the basic eligibility criteria then they can apply for CLAT Exam 2023.

English Language of CLAT 2023

To assess the applicant’s comprehension skills, passages of roughly 450 words are provided in CLAT 2023. The passage’s level of difficulty is relevant to a student in class 12th in general. Both non-fiction and fiction can be used to support the passage. An average passage takes about 7-8 minutes to read.

CLAT 2023 Current Affairs/General Knowledge

This particular section of CLAT Exam 2023 also contains a passage of around 450 words. It includes content from news and non-fiction that is not particularly based in the legal area.

CLAT Quantitative Techniques

This section of CLAT 2023 analyzes the applicants’ basic arithmetic by assigning 5-6 passages to interpret the data given thereto with a total of 15 – 17 questions. Graphical representation or passage follows a set of questions obtained from that particular data to test the analytical ability of the applicant. The higher number of questions in this part of CLAT 2023 are based on percentages, ratios, averages, profit & loss, time & work, and these other concepts. There is no need to continue on to the secondary stage of mathematics that is covered in the curriculum for classes XI and XII because the questions will be elementary, up to the level of the 10th grade.

Logical Reasoning of CLAT 2023

This section in CLAT 2023 analyzes the basics of the applicants’ critical aspects by assigning 9-10 passages with a total of around 29-30 questions. Candidates must become familiar with the questions in this area in order to answer them more quickly because it takes a lot of practice.

Analytical Reasoning

  • The large number of questions in this part is based on puzzles, circular arrangements, syllogisms, and inequality.
