NRA CET Eligibility Criteria 2022: The Union Cabinet has given a green flag to National Recruitment Agency (NRA) to set up a Common Eligibility Test (CET) for various Non-Gazetted Group B & C Government jobs such as SSC, Banking & Railways. The exam will take place in the next academic year (2022), PM Narendra Modi has confirmed the CET exam date year in a conclave. The NRA CET score will remain valid for three years, whereas there will be no bar to appear multiple times in the NRA CET exam

The Common Eligibility Test will be conducted twice every year in a total of 12 languages, which will remove the hassle of giving separate competitive exams for some of the most sought-after government exams such as Banking, Railways and Staff Selection Commission. This Single common eligibility test will take place for three levels of categories; 10th Pass, 12th Pass & Graduate level examinations. The most common question that is running in most of the student's minds is to understand the eligibility. CET Exam Age Limit 2022

The age limit for the various categories of the CET exam 2021 will remain different for different categories. However the upper age limit and lower age limit is yet to be determined by the National Recruitment Agency. It is expected that there will be no major changes to be made in the upper age limit for CET Banking, Railways and SSC exams. CET Exam Age Relaxation 2022

The age relaxation for various categories such as SC, ST, OBC, Physically Disables, Ex-Servicemen, Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who are not remarried, Defense Personnel disabled, will be out with the release of other eligibility details. However, as per the industry experts, it is expected that the age relaxation will be given to the prior mentioned categories as provided in the SSC, Banking & Railways Recruitment exams. The NRA will soon announce the age limit and age relaxation on their official website. 

Note: There shall be no restriction on the total number of attempts to appear in the NRA CET subject to the maximum age limit or upper age limit.

CET Exam Education Qualification 2022

  • CET Education Qualification for 10th Pass Category: The candidates who will appear for the CET conducted by NRA for 10th Pass level exams will have different criteria for educational qualification. 
  • CET Education Qualification for 12th Pass Category: Candidates to appear for the 10+12 level of exams will have to fulfil the qualification based on the level for which they will appear in CET. 
  • CET Education Qualification for Graduates Category: The educational qualification for the Graduate level CET exam will have completely different criteria.

All the above-mentioned categories will have different qualification criteria based on the level of CET for which they will appear. As soon as the CET is established, the NRA will then release a broad notification about the eligibility such as educational qualification and age limit.

CET Exam Nationality 2022

Make sure to apply for NRA CET 2021-22, you must be a:

  • Citizen of India
  • Citizen of Nepal
  • Citizen of Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugees settled in India (before 1st January 1962)
  • Indian by origin, who has migrated to Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of staying permanently in India.

The above-mentioned details are purely based on the previous nationality criteria set by the individual exam conducting bodies such as Banking, SSC and Railways, the final details on CET Nationality is yet to be announced by NRA.

  • The NRA CET will be conducted for three categories namely 10th Pass, 12th Pass & Graduate level CET exam. The eligibility criteria for each category will be different from each other. 

  • Depending on the existing upper age limit for the banking, SSC & railways exams, the NRA will decide the CET Age Limit, both upper and lower age limits.

  • No, since this will be a common test for Banking, SSC & Railways the age limit will remain the same for all exams, the only variation will be the type of CET (10th, 12th or Graduate level) that you will appear for. 

  • The NRA CET eligibility criteria 2022 are yet to be defined by the NRA. Once it is defined, you can then check the NRA CET Eligibility Criteria on the official website of the National Recruitment Agency.
