CAPF AC 2020 Final Result Out! The UPSC has finally declared the final result of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) Assistant Commandant Examination 2020. The written examination was conducted on 20th December 2020. The CAPF Final Result has been declared on 4 January 2022.
In this article, you can find out the order of merit of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to the posts of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). A total of 187 Candidates have been shortlisted in the Final Merit List of CAPF AC Examination 2020.
CAPF AC Shortlisted Vacancies
A person who is selected for CAPF (AC) has a choice to select any one of the forces:
- Border Security Force
- Central Reserve Police Force
- Central Industrial Security Force
- Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force
- Sashastra Seema Bal

The final merit list of the selected candidates has been prepared on the basis of marks secured by a candidate in the Written Exam and Interview/Personality Test. The candidates can now check their roll numbers and names in the official merit list of CAPF AC 2022.
Appointments to the various services shall be made by the Government according to the number of vacancies available and subject to the candidates fulfilling all the prescribed eligibility conditions/provisions contained in the Rules for the Examination and verifications, wherever due, being completed satisfactorily. Allotment to various services shall be made according to the merit obtained and preference of services given by candidates.

CAPF AC 2020 Cutoff Marks
Wherever two or more candidates have secured equal aggregate marks in CAPF (ACs) Examination, 2020, the tie cases have been resolved in accordance with the tie breaking principle, i.e. seniority in age, approved by the Commission.

CAPF AC notification will be released by the Union Public Service Commission in the month of April 2022, and the UPSC CAPF AC exam will be conducted in August 2022.
