Highlights of Canara Bank PO Exam 2018

• The level of the Canara Bank PO Exam 2018 was moderate.
• The reasoning was the little bit tough compared to other sections.
• There were no questions from Budget 2018-19 in General Awareness Section.Most of the questions were related to Current affairs and Banking Awareness. Current affairs were asked from December to January.
• Quantitative Aptitude followed the old pattern with no notable changes in it.
• English section was the little bit tricky. Multiple paragraphs based RC was asked. In cloze test, options were given along with the blank. Phrase replacement was of the new type.

This section comprised of total 50 questions. The overall level of this section was Moderate. Following topics were asked in this section:

3. The second question was from Table Graph with Moderate Level
4. Another question was from Caseletes. The questions level was difficult.

2. Proper practice of questions though BODMAS rules would come in handy for solving these questions easily.

2. Three questions were easy to do and other two were a little bit difficult.

• Data Sufficiency 

1. 5 questions were asked from this topic
2. The topics were Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Ages, Ratio & Proportions

• Miscellaneous (Arithmetic)
• 15 Questions of this section were asked from Miscellaneous arithmetic problems.
• 1-2 questions were asked from different topics like:
  The problem on ages, Mixtures, Time & Work, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time Speed & Distance, Partnerships etc.
• Questions were slightly calculative.

2.Reasoning Ability Section Analysis

This section comprised of total 50 questions. The overall level of this section was Moderate-Difficult. Following topics were asked in this section:

• 5 difficult questions were asked from Box Puzzle Topic.
• 5 questions were asked from circular seating arrangement & Blood Relation Topic. The level of these questions was difficult.
• 5 questions were based on Linear Seating Arrangement.
• 5 questions were asked from Floor Based Arrangements.

Inequality

• 5 Questions were asked from this topic.
• The questions were easy and less time taking.

Syllogism

• 5 Questions were asked from this topic.
• Questions were asked on old pattern of Syllogism.

• 5 questions were asked from this topic
• The level was moderate.

Logical Reasoning

• 10 questions from this topic were asked.
• 5 questions were asked from Inference topic. Statements were given and students had to tick the correct inference.
• 5 questions were asked from Argument topic. Statements were given and students had to tick the strong/weak arguments.
