BIS Scientist B Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility requirements must be met to be considered for BIS Scientist B recruitment 2022 through GATE 2020/2021/2022. Candidates who have scorecards for these years will be eligible to apply online. The candidates must be between 21-30 years of age as of the closing date of application. • At a maximum ratio of 1:4, candidates would be shortlisted for Personal Interviews based on their valid GATE 2020/2021/2022 score.
• Candidates will only be authorized to participate in the Personal Interview process when the Document Verification process has been completed successfully.
• Candidates will be chosen discipline-by-discipline based on merit, which will be determined by the total marks achieved after weighting the GATE Score and in the interview.

BIS Scientist B Salary and Surety Bond

According to the Seventh Central Pay Commission, Scientist B posts are paid at Pay Level 10 plus applicable allowances. At the time of joining, the gross payments will be roughly Rs. 99,956/- in Delhi.

Surety Bond: On being appointed to the position of Scientist-B, a candidate must provide a surety bond in the form prescribed by the Bureau, pledging to serve the Bureau for a minimum of three years. If they leave the service earlier than three years from the date of employment, either by resignation or absence from service without permission, they must reimburse the Bureau for six months’ payments at the last-drawn rate.
