Bihar STET 2019 Cancelled, Check the details here

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has cancelled the Bihar STET exam 2019-2020 after an investigation committee finds out various cases of irregularities in the exam, cheating in the exam, unstructured Question Paper especially in the social science paper, the chaos created by the candidates in exam centres including damage of the property and leakage of the paper that was held on  January 28, 2020. BSEB had conducted the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (BSTET) 2019 on 28th January 2020 and 26th February 2020 (re-exam at few centres). It is announced by the committee in the context of Bihar STET it will be freshly reconducted in 2020.

Bihar STET Cancellation Notice

Bihar Board of Secondary Education conducts the Bihar STET every year to provide eligibility to the candidates who want to become a teacher in the state schools. BSEB released the notification for the recruitment of Secondary Teacher (Class 9th-10th) and Senior Secondary Teacher (Class 11th-12th) through Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (Stet), 2019 & Physical Education & Health Instructor Ability Test, 2019. Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 was conducted on 28th January 2020 across 300 exam centres and 247241 candidates appeared for the exam. 

In order to resolve the issues related to BSTET, the committee was constituted to investigate the whole matter and derive a solution to the problem. The Investigation Committee consisted of four members including BSEB Chief Monitoring Officer Neelkamal, Joint Secretary Nikunj Prakash Narayan, Monitoring Officer Rajiv Kumar and Officer Sanjay Priyadarshi.  

Right now, no new dates of BSTET have been made public but the officials will soon shed some light on this matter. Till then we urge students to stay calm and keep your preparation steady for the upcoming examinations.
