(1) Nationality
Anyone who holds an Indian nationality can appear for the Bihar Judiciary exam. Only residents of Bihar state can get some relaxation in eligibility criteria.
(2) Age Limit
For the Bihar Judiciary Examination minimum & maximum age, Limits are
- Minimum age – 22 years as of 1st August 2019
- Maximum age – 35 years as of 1st August 2018

(3) Educational Qualification
As per the Bihar Judiciary Eligibility Criteria, candidates should have completed
- A Graduate Degree from a recognized University in Law or an equivalent qualification
- Make sure that the degree must be from a university/college recognized by the Bar Council of India.
BPSC Judiciary Exam: Number of Attempts
The Commission has not set a number of tries for the BPSC Judicial Services. Candidates who meet all of the other eligibility requirements, as well as the age restriction criteria, are eligible to take the test until they reach the age limit.
BPSC Judiciary Exam: Prior Experience
The BPSC Judicial Services Competitive Examination requires no prior experience. Any fresher with a law degree or equivalent can apply for the position of Civil Judge, provided he or she meets all other qualifying requirements.
