Bihar Primary Teacher Recruitment 2020: Education Department, Bihar has announced that candidates those who have qualified CTET in December 2019 are not eligible to apply for these vacancies. On 08 June 2020, Bihar Education Department has issued a notice regarding 94000 primary teacher recruitment process, according to which the candidates who possessed 18 months D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) from the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and passed (Teacher Eligibility Test) or CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) till July 2019 can apply for Bihar 94000 Teacher Bharti 2020.

After this update, the eligibility criteria based on the educational qualification changes a lot. Educational Qualification:-
- Graduation from a recognized university
- 18 months D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) from the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and
- Passed TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) or CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) until July 2019.
