Best App to Prepare for CSIR NET 2023 Exam: National Talent Agency (NTA) conducts the CSIR NET exam twice a year in June and December to select the candidates who want an award of Junior Research Fellowship or Lectureship within the field of Science and Technology. The CSIR NET stands for Council of Scientific & Industrial Research National Eligibility Test. It is a National Eligibility Test. Every year 2-3 Lakh students participate in the CSIR NET exam twice a year to get a scholarship in a Junior Research Fellowship to pursue a Ph.D. Program. CSIR NET has classified the exam syllabus into 3 main sections, Part A, Part B, and Part C. Part A consists of 20 questions of General Science, out of which 15 must be attempted. Each question carries 2 marks for the correct answer, and 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Parts B and C Consist of subject-specific questions. The CSIR NET exam consists of five subjects: Life Science, Earth Science, Mathematical Science, Chemical Science, and Physical Science.
