CUET Admission 2022: Form, Circular, Requirements, Process

The National Testing Agency administers the CUET Admission process on cuet samarth ac in the website. The Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) is a test for admission to various programs at participating Central Universities. The NTA recently published the notification for the CUET 2022.

• More than 80 Central, State & Private Universities are part of CUET 2022.
• The exam will be held in the first and second weeks of July 2022.
• The exams will be held in a computer-based test (CBT).

National Testing Agency has not released the exam dates and other following dates yet. Candidates can refer to the table below for all the important dates of CUET.

The process involves a few procedures. For a clear understanding of the admission, process candidates must check the process below. The admission will be based on the process defined by the Central Universities.

NTA will contact the students through a notice from its end to CUET Counselling them and assist them further in their admission process. This process might vary in nature and even the scope from university to university and course to course. The process might also vary in terms of whether it takes place in online/virtual mode or offline/physical/campus-visit mode.

• The first and foremost activity of this process is going to be a declaration of an initial cutoff list or some kind of shortlist or merit list. Based on this shortlist or merit list, students will initially be notified regarding the offer of admission by each of the universities or courses that the student has applied for. Students will be provided with a stipulated period within which they will be asked to complete the admission formalities (probably including the fee payment).
• After the first round of admission is over, students who have been admitted will be provided with more information on the commencement of their classes, other admission formalities, program structure, etc.
• The seats that remain vacant will be offered in the second round and the cycle will continue until and unless all the sanctioned seats are fulfilled. The obligation to fulfilling of all the seats might also vary from university to university. 
• This is how a student will be able to get into a university or course of his/her choice through the CUET examination.

There are several other important things to know apart from the admission procedure mentioned above. We will also try to list down as many other informative pointers as possible:

• Appearing for the CUET 2022 exam only doesn’t necessarily mean that your admission to one or more universities will be confirmed.
• It should also be noted that, despite applying for any course in any university and being able to score enough marks to get admission, final admission depends on the fulfillment of eligibility criteria by the candidate.
