BARC UDC 2021 Exam Level-1 Final Result and Answer Key Released: Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) has uploaded the Answer Key of the Level-1 Written Examination conducted for the post of Upper Division Clerk (UDC) on its official website. The Level-1 Exam was conducted on 21 February 2021. The exam is being conducted to recruit candidates for 47 vacancies for the post of Upper Division Clerk (UDC).
The selected candidates have received the mail regarding the result on their registered mail id provided at the time of form filling. All the candidates who have taken the BARC UDC 2021 Level Exam are requested to check their emails.

BARC Recruitment for UDC/Steno: Educational Qualification
Name of the Post | Age Limit | Educational Qualification |
Upper Division Clerk | 18-27 years | A degree of recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks. In case Universities award letter grades / CGPA / OGPA, the same will have to be indicated as equivalent percentage of marks as per the norms adopted by that University. |
Stenographer Grade III | 18-27 years | (i) Matriculation or equivalent (ii) Speed of 80 words per minute in English stenography . (iii)Typing speed in English of 30 words per minute |
Selection Procedure
The selection process comprises test conducted in two levels namely Level I and Level II.

- Level I is same and qualifying in nature for both UDC and Stenographer. General Candidates will have to secure 50% aggregate and candidates belonging to other categories will have to secure 40% aggregate.
- The criteria for empanelment in case of UDC will be based on marks obtained in Level 2 (Main) only where as The criteria for empanelment in case of stenographer will be based on marks obtained in both the levels i.e., Level 1 & Level 2.
- The Selected candidates will get posted to the constituent units of DAE located in Mumbai, Tarapur, Visakhapatnam and Kolkata.
BARC UDC/Stenographer Pay scale
Rs. 25,500/- (Level 4, Cell No.1 in the Pay Matrix) plus usual allowance as admissible to Central
Government employees.

Upper Division Clerk | Maintenance of files, noting, drafting, correspondence, typing letters, preparing various data, monitoring data, maintaining registers, maintaining inward and outward dak register etc. |
Stenographer Grade III | Taking dictation in shorthand and its transcription in e-media, fixing of appointments, attending telephone calls & visitors, general assistance in matters of correspondence, filing papers, movement of files, coordinating with various agencies. Preparing draft notes, letters,minutes etc. |
Application Fee
Interested candidates can apply online by paying a nominal amount of One Hundred Rupee only. SC/ST, Women Candidates, Ex-Servicemen and Physically challenged persons are exempted from Application fee.
