SEBI Grade A Notification 2020-21

SEBI Grade-A 2020 Vacancy Notification was released a few months ago! Securities Exchange Board of India, SEBI has officially released the recruitment notification for the post of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager). A total of 140+ vacancies have been released under the SEBI Grade A recruitment 2020 for Assistant Manager post in different streams.

The SEBI Grade 2020 apply online link is activated now and will remain active until 31st Oct 2020 (extended). The SEBI Assistant Manager Exam Dates were also released along with the notification but were cancelled later. As per the new notice, SEBI Grade Phase I is scheduled for 17th Jan 2021 while the Phase 2 exam will be conducted on 27th February 2021.

Steps to apply online for SEBI Assistant Manager 2020

  • Visit the official website of SEBI.
  • At the home page, you will find the apply online link for SEBI Grade A 2020.
  • Click on the link “Apply Online”.
  • Now application form window will be shown in the next tab, fill it carefully
  • Read all the instructions carefully before filling the SEBI Grade A application form
  • Upload a clear, scanned copy of the photograph along with your signature
  • Make the application fee payment through challan/SEBI Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card.
  • Once done, take the print out of the application form.
  • Once the registration is successful, you will receive the confirmation by SMS or email.

SEBI Grade A Eligibility Criteria 2020

The SEBI Assistant Manager Grade A Eligibility criteria 2020 covers age limit, qualification, and reservation criteria. Candidates who wish to apply for SEBI Assistant Manager Grade A 2020 exam must meet the SEBI Grade A Eligibility Criteria below:

1. Nationality

  • Citizens of India. OR
  • Citizen of Bhutan/Nepal/Bangladesh with a valid certificate by Indian govt.

2. Educational Qualification

  • General - Masters degree in any discipline, bachelors degree in law, Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering from a recognized university, CA /CFA / CS / Cost Accountant.
  • Legal - Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Information Technology - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical /Electronics / Electronics And Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science) OR Masters in Computers Application OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a postgraduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in Computers / Information Technology, etc. for different categories.

3. Age Limit (as on 29.02.2020)

  • The maximum age limit is 30 years, i.e. the candidate should not be born on or before 01st March 1990.
  • However, there is age relaxation for the reserved categories as per the government norms which is provided in the table below-

SEBI Grade A Admit Card 2020-21

The admit card for SEBI Grade A 2020-21 exam has been released for Phase 2 examination. SEBI separately releases the admit cards for all the stages at the official website of SEBI. Only those candidates who cracked the phase 1 exam will be eligible to download the SEBI Grade A admit card through the link shared below. Make sure you enter the correct details such as registration number and password/date of birth in order to avoid trouble.

SEBI Grade A Salary 2020-21

The pay scale of Officers Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) in SEBI is Rs. 28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)-46600-EB-1750(4)-53600-2000(1)-55600 (17 years). Other allowances such as House Allowance, House Cleaning Allowance, Medical Expense, Book Grant, Leave Fare Concession, Financial Dailies, Education Expenses, Briefcase, Conveyance Expenses, Staff Furnishing Scheme, Scheme for Purchasing Computers, Subsidized Lunch Facility, etc., will be as admissible as per the rules for Grade A officer in SEBI.

SEBI Grade A Selection Process & Exam Pattern 2020-21

The selection process of SEBI Assistant Manager Grade A consists of 3 phases:

  • Phase I: Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test)
  • Phase II: Main Examination (Online Objective & Descriptive Test)
  • Phase III: Interview

Note: - SEBI reserves the right to modify the selection procedure if it deems fit.
