RBI Grade B Officer Selection Process 2021

RBI Grade B Officer Phase-I Exam is scheduled to be held on 6th March 2021 and Phase-II will be conducted on 1st April 2021. Candidates who get selected after Phase-II of the exam are called for the final interview process.

The selection process of RBI Grade B officers is in-charged by the officials of RBI. Every candidate has to crack all the stages in order to grab the post of Grade B officer in RBI.

RBI Grade B 2021 exam has a three-phase selection process.

  • Phase I
  • Phase II
  • Interview

Note: It is just qualifying in nature. A total time of 120 minutes will be given for answering. However, separate time will be allotted for each test.

RBI Grade B Phase III Selection Process

  • Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on an aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III).
  • The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for Interview will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies.
  • The interview will carry 75 marks. 
  • A candidate may opt for interview either in Hindi or English.

Final Selection

  • Final Selection will be through merit list which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II examination and interview.

Some Important Points to Ponder

1) Each Candidate has to qualify in each of the objective tests as per the marks prescribed by the banks.

2) Never forget about the negative marking in these objective tests.

3) Candidate will be selected for interview round on the basis of the marks obtained in the main examination. 

4) So, it is very important for a student to not secure the cutoff marks but also score enough marks to make it to the merit list.
