NABARD Grade A Selection Process 2022 (Assistant Manager)

NABARD recruits Assistant Managers (Grade A) through an online selection process. The exam is conducted in three phases. The candidates have to ace all the stages of the NABARD Grade A selection process to get the aspired post of Assistant Manager in the firm.

Phase-I (Preliminary Examination) – It is an online objective exam carrying 200 marks. It is qualifying in nature.
Phase-II (Main Examination) – It is also an online exam but a mix of MCQ and Descriptive Pattern Namely Paper I and Paper-II.
Phase-III (Interview) – Candidates scoring remarkably high in the Main examination are shortlisted for Interviews.

A) Preliminary Examination (Total Marks 200)

The Preliminary examination is qualifying in nature, the scores obtained in this test will not contribute to the final merit list. But, the candidates have to ace through this stage to advance to the Mains stage. The total duration allotted to the Preliminary exam is 120 minutes. B) Main Examination (200 marks)

The Main examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive patterns.

Paper-I– General English: (Descriptive – writing skills – online through the keyboard). The paper will have descriptive questions.
Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks
The analytical and drafting abilities of the candidate shall be assessed through this Descriptive Paper on General English comprising essay writing, comprehension, report writing, paragraph writing & letter writing.
(Common for Grade ‘A’ – RDBS, Rajbhasha, and Legal)
Paper-II (MCQ):
I) For Grade A (RDBS)
i) General Discipline as at (i) in Table 1 – Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India)
ii) Specialized Discipline as at (ii) to (xv) in Table 1 -: Paper on related discipline
Duration: 1 ½ hrs. – 100 Marks
II) For Grade A Rajbhasha
The Paper will have multiple-choice questions. Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks proficiency in Hindi including Translation from English to Hindi and Vice versa. The analytical and drafting ability of the candidate shall also be assessed from the descriptive paper.
III) For Grade A (Legal Services)
The paper will have multiple-choice questions. Duration: 1 ½ hrs – 100 marks

The paper will be based on proficiency in interpreting various Laws viz., Banking, Negotiable Instruments, Company, Industrial and Cooperative Laws, Cyber laws, Commerce/Property
transactions, Rural non-life insurance, direct financing, staff matters, and good experience in drafting various types of documents.

C) NABARD Grade A Interview (50 marks)

Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II – Main examination and securing a sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for interview. It will be for 50 Marks. This round being the final stage of the NABARD Grade A selection process will pose stiff competition. The ones who will pave their way through this stage will reach the aspired position and their dreams will be accomplished.

NABARD Grade B Selection Process 2022 (Manager)

NABARD Grade A Provisional Allotment

NABARD Grade A provisional allotment will be done on the basis of the marks scored in the mains examination and the interview round. Since the Preliminary phase of the NABARD Grade, A exam is only of qualifying in nature. Therefore, no marks for the Prelims exam will be added to the final allotment.

The candidates initially selected have to undergo a probation period of NABARD Grade A post for 2 years.
The NABARD Grade a probation period can be extended at the Bank’s discretion, based on the performance of the candidate.
