APSC JE Recruitment 2020 Eligibility Criteria

For the post of Junior Engineer following is the eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. For proof of permanent residence, the candidate or his/her parents must be voter of Assam.
• The voter ID card of the candidate or his/her parents will be treated as proof of permanent residence.

Age Limit

• A candidate must be at least 18 years old
• Maximum age limit for various categories is mentioned below:

Junior Engineer, under Water Resources Department, Assam

• 3 Years Diploma course in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.

Note: Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1(one) official language of the State of Assam (i,e. Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

Selection Procedure

• The selection procedure will be notified later on followed by issuing corrigendum/addendum, if required.
• The commission will decide the provision for selection in respect of any post/posts or service/ services considering the status, cadre and grade or the number of applications received for the advertised post/posts or service/ services.
