APPSC TGT 2022: Vacancy Details

A total of 518 vacancies were released by APPSC. Out of 518 Posts, 197 nos. of posts of TGTs are reserved for APST candidates, 12 nos. of posts are reserved for APST PwD candidates and 50 nos. of posts are unreserved i.e., for open competition.

APPSC TGT 2022: Eligibility Criteria

APPSC TGT Eligibility Criteria include Educational qualification, the professional Qualification with an aggregate of 50% marks in graduation/postgraduation/diploma/B.ed. Other than this the age limit is also an essential criterion to qualify before applying for the exam:-

TGT	2nd Class Bachelor Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with B.Ed. However, candidates that have appeared or are appearing in the final semester/year examination shall also be eligible to apply, subject to production of Original Certificate/Mark Sheet at the time of Viva Voce /Interview	50

It is important to note that candidates who are appearing in the final semester/year examination shall also be eligible to apply, subject to the production of the Original Certificate/Mark Sheet at the time of Viva Voce /Interview.

APPSC TGT 2022: Age Limit  

The age limit shall be counted from 13th May 2022.

• The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for APST and Departmental working under Govt. and Semi Govt. of the State of Arunachal Pradesh.
• For PwD candidates, the upper age limit will be further relaxed to 15 years.

APPSC TGT 2022: Online Application

• Visit the official website of APPSC.
• The new users can fill in the details in the registration form and log in to fill out the application form.
• Read the instructions and ‘open the registration link’.
• Enter all the details required in the form –  Name, Gender, Age, qualification etc.
• Read the Upload all the documents as per the specifications.
• Now Preview and submit the application form by clicking on the ‘submit‘ button.
• After successful registration candidates will receive an email and SMS confirming their registration. 
• Download the copy of the application form for future reference.

 APPSC TGT 2022:Selection Process

The selection process will consist of two-stage. Eligible candidates will have to appear in a written examination in the subjects mentioned above followed by a viva-voce test to be conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission at Itanagar on the basis of which selection will be finalized. 

APPSC TGT 2022:Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of APPSC Trained Graduate Teacher is mentioned below. Candidates need to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each written examination (paper1 & 2) and a minimum of 45% of marks out of the aggregate total marks in the written examination papers shall be eligible for the viva-voce test.

It is important to note that, only three times the number of posts advertised (Ratio of 1:3), in the order of Merit, shall be invited for the Viva-voce/Personality Test.
