A total of 77 vacancies were released by APPSC. Out of 77 Posts, 60 nos. of Post of PGTs are reserved for APST candidates, 2 nos. of posts are reserved for APST PwD candidates and 15 nos. of Post are unreserved i.e., for open competition.

APPSC PGT Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
APPSC PGT Eligibility Criteria include Educational qualification, the professional Qualification with an aggregate of 50% marks in graduation/postgraduation/diploma/B.ed. Other than this the age limit is also an essential criterion to qualify before applying for the exam:-

APPSC PGT Age Limit Criteria
The age limit shall be counted from 11 March 2022.

- The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for APST and Departmental working under Govt. and Semi Govt. of the State of Arunachal Pradesh.
- For PwD candidates, the upper age limit will be further relaxed for 15 years.

- Read the instructions and 'open the registration link'.
- Enter all the details required in the form - Name, Gender, Age, qualification etc.

APPSC PGT Selection Process
Eligible candidates will have to appear in a written examination in the subjects mentioned above followed by a viva-voce test to be conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission at Itanagar on the basis of which selection will be finalized.
APPSC PGT Exam Pattern
- The exam pattern of Post Graduate Teacher mentioned below:-

- The candidates who secure a minimum of 33% marks in each written examination paper and a minimum of 45% of marks out of aggregate total marks in
the written examination papers shall be eligible for the viva-voce test. - It is to be noted that, only three times the number of posts advertised (Ratio of 1:3), in the order of Merit, shall be invited for the Viva-voce/Personality Test.
