Highlights of Important Apps/Portals Launched by Govt of India – Part 2

In continuation with our previous article, “Highlights of some important APPS/PORTALS launched – Part – 1”, we are now going to provide Part 2 on the Apps and Portals launched by the Government of India in the last few months.

Highlights of some important APPS and Portal Part II

1. CHAMPIONS Portal for MSME

  • Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has launched CHAMPIONS portal.
  • The CHAMPIONS stands here for the Creation and Harmonious Application of Modern Processes for Increasing the Output and National Strength.
  • It is a technology-driven Control Room-Cum-Management Information System which utilises modern information and communication technology (ICT) tools.
  • The objective is to assist Indian MSMEs march into the big league as National and Global CHAMPIONS by solving their grievances and encouraging, supporting, helping and hand-holding them.

2. e-GramSwaraj

  • On the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the unified e-GramSwaraj Portal and Mobile App. 
  • This is a new initiative of Ministry of Panchayati Raj which will provide the Gram Panchayats with a single interface to prepare and implement their Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP).

3. YUKTI 2.0 Platform

  • The portal was launched by education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
  • YUKTI stands for Young India Combating COVID with Knowledge, Technology and Innovation.
  • This unique portal will deal with the efforts and initiatives of MHRD during these difficult times caused by Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

4. www.ai.gov.in. (India’s national Artificial Intelligence Portal)

  • The portal was launched by Union Minister for Electronics and IT, Law and Justice and Communications Ravi Shankar Prasad.
  • It has been jointly developed by the Ministry of Electronics and IT and IT Industry. National e-Governance Division of Ministry of Electronics and IT and NASSCOM from the IT industry will jointly run this portal.

5. “Rozgar Bazar”

  • Portal was launched by Delhi government
  • A sort of marketplace for job seekers and the people recruiters.
  • The “Rozgar Bazar” portal is an effort of the Delhi Government to revive the lockdown-hit economy of Delhi.

6. Restart India (www.restartindia.com)

  • This portal was launched by Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Minister of Shipping and the MSME Minister, Nitin Jairam Gadkari
  • This is to provide mentoring for supporting MSME to restart business

7. e-Sachivalaya portal

  • Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar
  • To help people in taking online appointment for virtual meetings with the chief minister, deputy CM, other ministers and heads of various departments.

8. Automotive Solutions Portal for Industry, Research and Education (ASPIRE) portal

  • Launched by International Centre of Automotive Technology (ICAT)
  • For improving technical ability and capability of the automotive sector of the country.

9. Aatamanirbhar Skilled Employee-Employer Mapping (ASEEM) portal

  • Launched by Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MoSDE) Mahendra Nath Pandey
  • For mapping the demand of skilled workforce.

10. Learning through E-Resources Made Accessible for Delhi (LEAD) portal

  • Launched by Deputy Chief Minister and education minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia
  • To make online education stronger.
  • The portal will provide 10,000 study materials and content for students of Class 1st to 12th.

11. SATYABHAMA Portal

  • Launched by Union Minister for Coal & Mines Minister Pralhad Joshi
  • The portal is for the promotion of research and development in the Mining and Minerals sector.

12. ‘SPICe+’ Web Form

  • Launched by Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA)
  • To help in saving as many procedures, time and cost for Starting a Business in India.

13. Web Portal and Mobile App Incredible India

  • Launched by the Ministry of State (IC) for Tourism & Culture
  • To attract tourists from Chinese, Arabic and Spanish speaking regions.

14. Bhuvan Panchayat V3

  • Launched by Union Minister of State for PMO Dr Jitendra Singh
  • To enhance network application of gram panchayats.

15. Web Portal “OECMS”

  • Launched by Central Board of Secondary Education
  • To help the Principals of the school to get the real-time information like the availability of invigilators, absentee student, Divyanga student, unfair means and various other details in a single click.

16. Web Portal

  • Launched by Tax Department
  • Provide information about procedures related to automatic exchange of information under common reporting standards.

17. railways.delhipolice.gov.in

  • Launched by Union minister Nityanand Rai
  • People can file their complaints regarding the issues they face in the railway

18. e-Rozgar Samachar

  • Launched by Ministry of Information & Broadcasting
  • To make aspirants aware of job opportunities in government sector including public sector enterprises.

19. DBT Tribal

  • Launched by Ministry of Tribal Affairs
  • The portal provides a single common platform to states to upload data related to beneficiaries, raise queries and give feedback.

20. Startup India

  • Launched by PM Narendra Modi
  • To Promote startups, generation of employment, and wealth creation.

21. E-NAM Portal

  • Launched by Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India
  • To reach out to the last mile farmer and transform the way agricultural produce is sold.

22. ‘Saubhagya

  • Launched by Government of India
  • The web portal aims to ensure transparency as well as accelerate household electrification in rural as well as urban areas in the country.

23. PRAAPTI            

  • Launched by Ministry of State for Power
  • The web portal and app aim to bring transparency in power purchase transactions between Generators and Discoms.

24. National Scholarship Portal

  • Launched by Ministry for Minority Affairs
  • The National Scholarship Portal is the Government of India’s initiative to provide financial assistance to deserving students by awarding them scholarships to pursue higher education and fulfil their dreams.

25. Udyam Sakhi Portal

  • Launched by Women Entrepreneurs
  • Udyam Sakhi seeks to encourage women entrepreneurs and to aid, counsel, assist and protect their interests. It also preserves free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.

26. Bhu-Naksha

  • Launched by NIC, Government of India
  • To facilitate the management of digitized cadastral maps.

27. E-Dharti App And Portal

  • Launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs
  • To Provide all the three modules Conversion, Substitution and Mutation related to properties online.

28. LADIS (Least Available Depth Information System)

  • The portal was launched by Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI)
  • The aim of the portal is to aid in ensuring of optimum use of National Waterways

29. e-AUSHADHI portal

  • The portal was launched by AYUSH Ministry
  • For online licensing of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy drugs and related matters

30. ShaGun Portal

  • The portal was launched by Ministry of Human Resource Development (Now Ministry of Education)
  • To capture and showcase innovations and progress in Elementary Education sector of India by continuous monitoring of the flagship scheme – Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA).

31. WAYAM (Study Webs of Active–Learning for Young Aspiring Minds)

  • The portal was launched by Ministry of Human Resource Development (Now Ministry of Education)
  • The objective of the portal is to take the best teaching-learning resources to all and
  • To bridge the digital divide for students who remained untouched by the digital revolution and have not been able to join the mainstream of the knowledge economy.

32. Diksha Portal

  • The portal was launched by the Ministry of Human Resource Development
  • For providing a digital platform to the teacher to make their lifestyle more digital.
  • Through this portal, all teachers across the nation will be equipped with advanced digital technology.

33. ‘eDrishti’ Portal

  • The portal was launched by Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS) & Ministry of Railways.
  • This portal provides summary information on the punctuality of trains for the previous day and information on current train running on the Indian Railway network.

34. Mahila – E Haat Portal

  • This portal was launched by Women and Child Development Ministry
  • Aim of the portal is to promote Women Farmers and Entrepreneurs

35. Air Sewa 2.0

  • The portal was launched by the Ministry of Civil Aviation
  • Aim of the portal is to offer passengers convenient and hassle-free air travel experience

36. PAISA-Portal for Affordable Credit and Interest Subvention Access

  • The portal was launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and designed and developed by Allahabad Bank
  • A centralized electronic platform for processing interest subvention on bank loans to beneficiaries under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM).

37. Government e-marketplace (GeM)

  • The portal was launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs Government of India
  • It aims to promote inclusiveness, efficiency and transparency in public procurement and bring an increase in cashless transactions.

38. Rail Sahyog

  • The portal was launched by Ministry of Railways
  • It will provide a platform for the Corporates & PSUs to contribute to the creation of amenities at/near Railway Stations through CSR funds

39. FARMERS Portal

  • The portal was launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare,
  • To make available relevant information and services to the farming community and private sector through the use of information and communication technologies.

40. e-Sahaj Portal

  • The portal was launched by Ministry of Home Affairs
  • For grant of Security Clearance.
  • The portal will facilitate an applicant to submit an application online and also to view the status of his application from time to time.

41. PENCIL- Platform for Effective Enforcement for No Child Labour  

  • The portal was launched by Ministry of Labour & Employment
  • To combat the menace of child labour, trafficking and sexual abuse to ensure complete prohibition of child labour and protection of adolescents from hazardous labour ultimately leading to Child Labour Free India.

42. AirSewa 2.0

  • The portal was launched by Ministry of Civil Aviation
  • To provide a superior user experience with enhanced functionalities.
  • Major improvements include features such as secure sign-up and log-in with social media, chatbot for travellers support, improved grievance management including social media grievances, real-time flight status and details flight schedule.

43. Rail Sehyog

  • The portal was launched by Ministry of Railway
  • For the corporates and PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) to contribute to the creation of amenities at Railway stations through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds.

44. Rail Drishti

  • The portal was launched by Ministry of Railway
  • It brings information from various sources on a single platform and gives access to key statistics and parameters to every citizen of the country

45. e-Pashu Haat

  • The portal was launched by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare
  • Farmers can obtain information on the location of quality indigenous germplasm in the form live animals, semen doses and embryos.
  • Farmers will be aware of the availability of quality disease free bovine germplasm with different agencies in the country.

46. Samadhaan

  • Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises
  • To help MSMEs directly register their cases relating to delayed payments by Central Ministries/Departments/CPSEs/State Governments.
  • The information on the portal will be available in the public domain, thus exerting moral pressure on the defaulting organisations.

47. NIPUN Portal

  • The portal was launched by Delhi Police
  • It is an e-learning portal aiming to give online training and information to police personnel through specialised courses designed by experts in the field.
  • Through NIPUN, Delhi Police officers can now access information by just logging on the portal. They can take the course from anywhere at any time.

48. SHREYAS Portal

  • The portal was launched by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development
  • For providing industry apprenticeship opportunities to the general graduates exiting in April 2019 through the National Apprenticeship Promotional Scheme (NAPS)

49. Womaniya portal on GeM

  • The portal was launched by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry
  • To enable women entrepreneurs and women self-help groups to sell handicrafts and handloom, accessories, jute and coir products, home décor and office furnishings, directly to various Government ministries, departments and institutions.

50. ENSURE portal

  • The portal was launched by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare
  • It is developed by NABARD and operated under the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries. Subsidy payment for activities related to poultry, small ruminants, pigs etc., through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), goes directly to the beneficiary’s account

51. DEEP- Discovery of Efficient Electricity Price

  • The portal was launched by Ministry of Home Affairs
  • It is an e-Bidding & e-Reverse Auction portal” for procurement of short term power by DISCOMs

52. Vidya Lakshmi

  • The portal was launched by the Ministry of Finance
  • For students looking for an education, the loan can apply to multiple banks by filling just one form
  • Students can track the status of their applications, and avail various loan schemes being offered.
