APCOB Staff Assistant and Manager Scale I Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (APCOB) has recently declared a vacancy for Staff Assistant and Manager position, urging candidates to fill their application forms by visiting their link for 61 vacant seats. Candidates are requested to check the required eligibility for the exam from 21st July 2021 to 5th August 2021. The dates should be kept in mind thoroughly not to skip a single day. Here is a brief rundown of the exam pattern and syllabus.

Exam Pattern And Syllabus 

At first, every candidate must be clear about the exam pattern and the syllabus before sitting for any examination. The competitors for APCOB who are preparing for the exam must check out the syllabus and exam pattern provided below to gear themselves up for the upcoming exam. 

Staff Assistant Examination 

For the Staff Assistant post examination, you will have to cover the topics of English for 30 marks (30 questions x 1 mark), Reasoning for 35 marks ( 35 questions x 1 mark), and Numerical ability for 35 marks (35 questions x 1 mark). The total mark on which you will be evaluated is 100. You will be given 1 hour or 60 minutes to solve the paper. You will be awarded a +1 mark for each correct answer, and for each wrong answer, -0.25 will be deducted from the total marks. Any question that remained unanswered will be given a 0. 

Manager Examination 

For the post of Manager, you need to go through the topics of English 30 marks (30 questions x 1 mark), Reasoning for 35 marks (35 questions x 1 mark), and Quantitative Aptitude for 35 marks (35 questions x 1). The full marks assigned for this exam are 100 and need to be completed by 60 minutes. +1 mark will be credited to every correct answer. Whereas -0.25 will be reduced for each wrong answer from the total obtained marks. Not attempted questions will be allotted with a 0.

The Staff Assistant Examination and the Manager Examination both have an almost identical syllabus. Just the Numerical Ability and Quantitative Aptitude have different sectors. Candidates are advised to cover the maximum part of the syllabus to guarantee their position in the 61 vacant seats. Let us now come across the sections as mentioned below:

These sections cover Active and Passive Voice, Para Completion, Idioms and Phrases, Substitution, Error Correction (Underlined Part), Transformation, Antonym, Direct and Indirect Speech, Joining Sentences, Theme Detection, Topic Rearrangement of Passage, Error Correction ( Phrase in Bold), Synonym, Fill in the blanks, Data Interpretation, Spelling Test, Sentence Arrangement, Sentence Completion, Homonym, Passage Completion, Prepositions, Sentence Improvement, Spotting Errors and Word Formation. 

Numerical Ability ( Staff Assistant) 

These portions comprise of Time and Work, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Simple and Compound Interest, Ratio and Proportion, Time and Distance, Partnership, Average, Number System, L.C.M. and H.C.F, Simplification, Decimals and Fractions, Square Roots, Use of Tables and Graphs, Miscellaneous, Data Sufficiency and Mensuration. 

Quantitative Aptitude (Manager) 

These parts contain Pipes and Cisterns, Partnership, Problems on H.C.F. and L.C.M., Compound Interest, Numbers and Ages, Probability, Problems on Train, Average, Percentage, Interest, Discount, Problems on Numbers, Odd Man Out, Compound Interest, Mixtures and Allegations, Mensuration, Permutation and Combination, Bar and Graphs, Races and Games, Quadratic Equations, Ratio and Proportion, Stocks and Shares, Computation of Whole Numbers, Square Roots, Time and Distance, Simple Equation, Boats and Streams, Indices and Surds, Simplification and Approximation, Profit and Loss, Areas, Volumes, Line Charts, Tables, Simple Interest and Time and Work Partnership. 

Conclusion

ST, SC, PC, EXS are charged ₹500 to appear in this examination, and the general category is charged ₹700. These are non-refundable by the association. Wish you all the best for the exam. Hope you emerge with flying colors.
