AP TET Exam Pattern 2022: The Government of Andhra Pradesh, Department of School Education, is going to conduct the AP TET Exam 2022 in various districts of Andhra Pradesh State from 6th August 2022 to 21st August 2022. AP TET candidates are advised to understand the exam pattern before preparing for the upcoming examination.

AP TET 2022 Exam Pattern: Highlights

AP TET Exam Pattern 2022

The Andhra Pradesh TET 2022 exam will be conducted for a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration. There will be 5 sections in paper-I: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II (English), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. In Paper-II there will be 4 sections containing the following subjects: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Langauge II (English), Mathematics & Science or Social Studies or Language Teachers or Category of Disability Specialization and Pedagogy.

  • There will be a total of 150 questions asked in the paper.
  • The questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) types.
  • The exam will be conducted for a total of 150 marks.
  • The Question Paper will be bilingual.

Passing Criteria of AP TET 2022

APTET 2022 results will be declared in the last week of September 2022. The criteria for considering passing in APTET are as follows:

FAQs on AP TET Exam Pattern

  • AP TET will be an offline exam for 2.30 hours, consisting of 150 questions with 150 marks. The different types of questions that will be included according to the AP TET exam pattern are MCQs. There will be no negative marking. 

  • For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded and there will be no negative marking on the paper. For an unattempted question also, there will be 0 marks granted.

  • The Question Paper shall be bilingual (i.e). English followed by the language-I chosen by the candidates for all Languages except Sanskrit. For the candidates choosing Sanskrit, the questions shall be in Telugu followed by Sanskrit (Devanagari Script). 

  • The Andhra Pradesh TET 2022 exam will be conducted for a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration. There will be 5 sections in paper-I: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II (English), Mathematics and Environmental Studies.
