AP Panchayat Secretary Eligibility Criteria 2019: Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Subordinate Service (APPSC) has released the Grade-V recruitment for Panchayat Secretary post. A total of 7040 vacancies are released under the AP Panchayat Secretary recruitment 2019. To apply for this exam, candidates must ensure that they fulfil the required norms as mentioned in the official notification. AP Panchayat Secretary Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidate who fulfills all the stages of eligibility criteria will only be eligible to sit in the written examination. Below are the different stages of AP Panchayat Secretary eligibility criteria:

Age Limit Criteria: Below we have described the required age as on 01st July 2019 for the AP Panchayat Secretary 2019 recruitment:

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 42 years

This means that the candidate should not be born earlier than 2nd July 1977 and not later than 1st July 2000. Also, there is an age relaxation for some of the reserved categories as detailed below:

Educational Qualification: For the direct recruitment, the candidate should possess the academic qualifications and experience including practical experience prescribed, if any, for the post on the date of the notification as per the concerned recruiting agency.

The candidate must have passed the Degree from any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or a Provincial Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Reservation

SC/ST/BCs/PWD

There will be reservations in direct recruitment in respect of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, Physically Challenged and Women as per Rule 22 and 22 (A) of A.P. State and Subordinate Service Rules.

Local Candidates

Reservation to the Local candidates is applicable as provided in Article 371-D as per G.O.Ms.No.674, G.A (SPF- A) Department, dated.20.10.1975 and rules as amended from time to time and as in force on the date of notification. The candidates claiming reservation as Local candidates should obtain the required Study Certificate(s) (from IV Class to X Class or SSC) OR Residence Certificate in the proforma prescribed for those candidates who have not studied in any Educational Institutions as the case may be. The relevant certificates with authorized signature shall be produced as and when required.

Apart from these, there are some other sub-points to be noted in order to be eligible for the AP panchayat secretary 2019 exam which are as follows:

1) He/She is of sound health, active habits and free from any bodily defect or infirmity rendering him unfit for such service.

2) His/her character and antecedents are such as to qualify him for such service.

3) He/She possesses the academic and other qualifications prescribed for the post.
