UP Police Assistant Operator Recruitment 2022: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released a recruitment notification for the posts of Assistant Operator (AO), Head Operator (mechanical) (HO), and Workshop Staff. A total of 2430 UP Police Operator vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive for the post of Assistant Operator, Head Operator & System Operator.

The UP Operator application process will commence on January 20, 2022, and conclude on February 28, 2022.. Interested candidates can check the UP Police Operator eligibility criteria below and then apply on the official website - uppbpb.gov.in/ The exam date for the UP Operator recruitment has not been notified yet. However, it shall be notified to you soon. 

According to the official notice, the selection for the UP Police Operator post will be done in four stages, first one is CBT which will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), the second stage will be Documentation & Physical Standard Test (PST), third will be Physical Efficiency Test and the last stage will be Medical Exam (ME). Those candidates who will secure the highest marks in all these rounds will be selected for the job.

UP Police has released a recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Operator (AO), Head Operator (mechanical) (HO), and Workshop Staff. Candidates who have passed their Class 12th or have ITI qualification or 3-year engineering diploma can apply online from 20th January to 15th March 2022. Earlier, the last date toa apply for the exam was active up to 28th February 2022. However, the application date has now been extended.

A total of 936 vacancies have been notified for the recruitment of the post of UP Police Head Operator.

A total of 1374 vacancies have been notified for the recruitment of the post of UP Police Assistant Operator.

UP Police Workshop Staff Vacancy 2022

Of these, 120 posts are reserved for UP Police Workshop Staff posts.

UP Police Operator Application Fee

To apply for the UP Police Operator 2022 exam all the candidates have to pay an application fee of ₹400. No relaxation is given to any category. Nationality:  To be eligible for Uttar Pradesh Police Radio Operator and Workshop Staff Recruitment 2022, a candidate must be either:

(a) A citizen of India, or

(b)   A citizen of Nepal, or

(c) A citizen of Bhutan, or

(d)   A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, and then settled here

(e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia Malawi, Zaira, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with then permanently settled in India.

The selection process for Uttar Pradesh Police Operator Recruitment 2022 consists of 4 stages which are:

1.       Online Written Examination
2.       Documentation & Physical Standard Test (PST)
3.       Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
4.       Medical Exam

Candidates will have to qualify each stage of the recruitment process to be able to be appointed to the post of UP Assistant Operator, UP HEad Operator and Workshop Staff posts. We have explained to you the detailed selection process below. 

UP Operator exam 2022 will be conducted in four stages — tier 1 in computer-based test (CBT) mode, tier 2 will be Documentation & Physical Standard Test (PST), tier 3 will be Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and tier 4 will be Medical Test.

• As per the official notice released by the UP Police for recruitment of Operator posts, the tier 1 exam will consist of 400 multiple choice questions with 4 options out of which the candidate has to choose one correct answer only.
• Each question will carry the weightage of 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted on giving a wrong answer.
• Tier 1 will be divided into four sections – General Hindi, Reasoning, Numerical & Mental Ability Test, and General Knowledge with 100 questions asked from each section.
• The question paper will be bilingual which means candidates can attempt the exam in either Hindi or English language.

To qualify the UP Police Operator Exam 2022, candidates need to score 50% in all four subjects- General Hindi, General Knowledge, Mathematics and Reasoning. The UP Police Operator salary shall vary as per the post for which the recruitment is being conducted.
