UKPSC AE Selection Process 2022

The UKPSC Assistant Engineer (AE) Selection Process is specified by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) in the official notification pdf. Candidates who will be appearing for the UKPSC AE exam 2022 should know the selection criteria for the exam. The UKPSC AE selection process is a 3 stage process as given below here. One needs to qualify each stage to be able to become an assistant engineer in the commission. 

  • Stage 1: General Ability Test
  • Stage 2: Subject Related Test
  • Stage 3: Interview

UKPSC AE Selection Process for Stage 1: General Ability Test

The UKPSC AE selection process the 1st stage will have General Ability Papers: General Hindi, General English and General Knowledge. Candidates need to obtain the cut off marks in this paper to be able to appear for the next stage of the UKPSC AE exam. 

The UKPSC AE exam pattern for the 1st stage is given below in the table. All the questions be objective questions with four options. Only one option will be correct. There is also a negative marking if you chose the incorrect option. Each subject is of 100 marks with 100 marks.

UKPSC AE Interview

Candidates who will obtain the cut off marks in the UKPSC AE written exam will be eligible to appear for the UKPSC Interview. The interview will be of 100 marks.  The UKPSC Assistant Engineer interview will test your intelligence, character and your capability to be able to perform the duties that is required for the post.
