UKPSC AE Eligibility Criteria 2021: The Uttarakhand Public service commission (UKPSC) has specified the eligibility criteria which an aspirant is required to fulfill to be eligible to apply for Assistant Engineer (AE) in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical posts. Age Limit

According to the notification of the UKPSC AE released previously the age limit should be 21 years to 42 years.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical engineering at a recognized university or college.

Nationality

Indian

As per the eligibility criteria

Important Points

  • The candidates who are already an employee of UKPSC should have secured 50% of the aggregate marks in the Bachelor degree.
  • The candidates who are not permanent members of the Uttarakhand state will be treated as General category candidates.
  • Applicants in the reserved category i.e. SC / ST / OBC / Female Applicants etc. will be offered a relaxation of the age limits.

UKPSC AE Age Limit

Applicants who wish to apply for the UKPSC AE Exam must have a minimum age limit when completing the application form. Candidates for the General category must be at the age of 21 to 42 years. Age relaxation for the UKPSC AE exam will be applicable as per the govt. rules. 

Age Relaxation for UKPSC Assistant Engineer Exam

The age relaxation for UKPSC AE exam will be applicable only to the Uttarakhand domiciles.

UKPSC AE Educational Qualification for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical

Educational Qualification is the second most important part of the UKPSC AE Eligibility Criteria. The UKPSC AE educational qualification for the civil/mechanical/electrical posts is given below. 

Civil Engineer

  • Applicants should have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Or you should have completed AMICE (Phase A & B testing)
  • A person who is placed in the Unreserved / OBC and EWS categories must have secured 55% marks or equal distance from the above.
  • A person nominated under the SC / ST category of the State of Uttarakhand must obtain a pass mark or equivalent distance from the above branch.
  • Applicants already working in UKPSC must obtain a minimum mark of 50% or equivalent in the above engineering branches.

Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Engineer

  • Applicants should have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Branches affiliated with Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Or
  • Applicants should have passed the ‘A’ and ‘B’ sections of the Integrated Engineering Institute (AMIE) membership at any of the above-mentioned branches.

UKPSC AE Domicile

According to the official notification of the UKPSC AE, the applicants who are seeking any reservation benefits for any of the posts are required to be a permanent domicile of Uttarakhand. the other states applicants are not eligible to avail any kinds of benefits of age relaxations or any sort of reservation benefits mentioned in the notification.

UKPSC AE Scribe Details

The board in question does not say anything related to the participants who are visually or physically disabled. Therefore, this means that those candidates with disabilities must undergo a physical examination by their own means.
