SSC JE Exam Cut Off

SSC JE cutoff is the minimum mark set by the exam conducting body. Candidates obtain cutoff marks to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process. It plays an important role in determining the selection of the candidate for the exam. SSC JE previous year cut off for tier 1 and tier 2 has been provided below for the reference of the candidates.
Factors Influencing SSC JE Exam Cut-Off:

The cut-off for the SSC JE test is not fixed and might vary from year to year due to a variety of reasons, including:

  • Exam Difficulty Level: A more challenging paper may result in a somewhat lower cut off since it becomes more difficult for applicants to get high scores.
  • Total Number of Vacancies: As more candidates are accommodated, the possibilities of a lower cut-off score grow.
  • Total Number of Candidates: As the number of candidates increases, the competition heats up, perhaps raising the cut-off.
  • Due to reservation regulations, separate cut-offs are often used for different groups, such as General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.
  • Historical Trends: Cut-off dates from previous years can provide useful information.
