Educational Qualification:

The Metro Rail electrical pay of employees for direct as well as contracts recruits shall be as per pay scales under the IDA including other benefits such as HRA, Medical benefit, EPF, Gratuity, Insurance etc.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on 2 different stages. Candidates failing to fulfil the Metro Rail electrical recruitment selection process will not be able to participate further. The selection process of Metro Rail electrical recruitment is as follows:

• Phase I: Computer Based Test (Paper I & II)
• Phase II: Group Discussion

Metro Rail Exam Pattern

Paper I: -

• Metro rail paper 1 exam pattern will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions.
• Questions will be asked from General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude (General English for Maintainer-Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, and Fitter) and/knowledge of the discipline/trade.
• A total of 120 questions will be asked carrying equal marks.
• For every wrong answer, the 1/3rd mark will be deducted.
• Paper I exam pattern will be available in bilingual languages (Hindi/English).
• A total of 1.5 hours duration will be allowed to write the Paper I exam.

Paper II: -

• Paper-II is not for Maintainers post.
• It will also consist of objective type questions on General English.
• A total of 60 questions, each carrying equal marks will be asked.
• Negative marking of 1/3rd marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
• The Paper-II shall be allowed 45 minutes of duration.

Admit Card for Metro Rail Recruitment 2020 will be out 10-15 days prior to the exam date at the official website.
