Selection Process

The selection of the candidates in Metro Rail Civil recruitment 2020 will be based on 2 different stages. Candidates failing to fulfil the Metro Rail recruitment selection process will not be entertained further.

• Phase I: Computer Based Test (Paper I & II)

Metro Rail Exam Pattern

Paper I: -

• Metro rail CE paper 1 exam pattern will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions.
• Questions will be asked from General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude (General English for Maintainer-Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, and Fitter) and/knowledge of the discipline/trade.
• A total of 120 questions will be asked carrying equal marks.
• For every wrong answer, the 1/3rd mark will be deducted.
• Paper I exam pattern will be available in bilingual languages (Hindi/English).
• A total of 1.5 hours duration will be allowed to write the Paper I exam.

Paper II: -

• Paper-II is not for Maintainers post.
• It will also consist of objective type questions on General English.
• A total of 60 questions, each carrying equal marks will be asked.
• Negative marking of 1/3rd marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
• The Paper-II shall be allowed 45 minutes of duration.
