KPTCL Selection Process 2022: Written Exam, DV, Final Selection

KPTCL Selection Process 2022 is carried out to recruit candidates for the post of Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer in the Civil and Electrical disciplines. The candidates appearing for the exam should know about the two important stages of the selection. The first one is the written test which will be an aptitude test followed by document verification (DV).

KPTCL Selection Process 2022

KPTCL Selection Process 2022 is carried out by the exam conducting authority which is the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL). The selection process for the KPTCL Exam shall be based on the performance in two rounds as mentioned below:

Written test
Document Verification (DV)
Medical Test

Candidates who obtain the cut off marks in the written exam shall be eligible to appear for the document verification (DV) The selection list for KPTCL will be made based on the performance in the Aptitude Test of the KPTCL Recruitment 2022. The selected candidates have to appear for the document verification and medical test. If everything works fine then the candidate will be appointed to the post of KPTC AE JE in the department.

KPTCL Selection Process for Written Test

The Selection Process for KPTCL starts with a written exam which shall be held in offline mode. There will be only multiple-choice questions of 100 marks, and the applicants will get 2 hours time limit.

The candidates who have not passed the Kannada language exam at their 10th or higher level are required to attempt a Kannda Language paper test. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer so the candidates need to appear on the exam carefully, General Awareness & Aptitude Round will be common for each KPTCL post. So to qualify for this round of the KPTCL selection process, candidates must read and practice a lot.

Qualifying Marks for KPTCL Written Exam

KPTCL has set the minimum qualifying marks for the candidates for the aptitude test. The candidates will be required to score at least 35% in the written exam. The KPTCL cut off marks will be decided on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the written exam.

KPTCL Document Verification

Those who crack the written test of the KPTCL selection process will proceed to the next stage which is the documents verification round. This round is conducted to check if the candidate has the proof of all documents that he/she has mentioned in the application form.

KPTCL Selection Process: Medical Test

If the document verification round of the KPTCL Selection process is successfully completed then the candidate will have to go through a medical test. Here certain physical and mental tests will be conducted by approved doctors to ensure he/she is perfectly fit for the job. If any problem is found in the physical or mental well being then the candidate will not qualify for the selection process of KPTCL.

KPTCL Final Selection Process- Selection List

The final selection list for the KPTCL exam shall be done after the completion of the written exam, document verification and medical test. The marks scored by the candidates in the written exam shall be deciding factor for preparing the merit list of the candidates.
