The candidates selected for the post of GSECL JE Vidyut Sahayak (VS) shall be given a salary of Rs 37,000 per month for the first year. Thereafter, the in hand salary for GSECL JE will be increased in the subsequent years.

GSECL JE Salary Structure 2022
The GSECL JE annual salary for the newly employed candidates is expected to be between Rs. 4.80 Lakhs to Rs. 5.50 Lakh. The selected candidates will not receive any allowances or benefits other than the travel allowances and daily allowance reimbursement in accordance with the policy of the GSECL until they have completed 5 years of service. After the completion of 5 years, they will be appointed as permanent employees of the corporation and will receive all the related benefits of the post.

GSECL JE In Hand Salary
The GSECL JE In Hand Salary shall differ for all the candidates for the 1st year of service to the subsequent years. In the first year of his/her service, the candidates will receive Rs.37,000/- per month as in hand salary. After completion of their 1st-year tenure, there would be a slight increase in their salary, and then it would become Rs. 39,000/- till the completion of their 5th year.
Upon successful completion of their 5 years of service, they would be considered for the permanent post of JE/Vidyut Sahayak. The salary after the end of 5 years will be on the pay scale of Rs. 45,400/ – Rs.101,200/-.During the initial years of service as a GSECL JE, i.e. for the first 5 years, the candidates would be eligible to receive only the TA/DA reimbursement. They would not receive any other perks and allowance. However, upon becoming permanent employees, they will receive all the perks and allowances as per the Gujarat Govt.

GSECL JE Probation Period
To become a permanent employee in the GSECL as a Junior Engineer, the selected candidates must successfully complete their probation period. The probation period is basically the training period for the candidates. During this period, they will be trained to perform their duties diligently.
- The GSECL JE probation shall be for 5 years.
- After the completion of the probation as GSECL Vidyut Sahayak (JE), the candidates will be considered as permanent employees, where they will be entitled to all the perks and allowances admissible to them by the Gujarat Govt.
- During the probation period, candidates will learn about the job’s duties and responsibilities, as well as the working conditions.
GSECL JE Job Profile: Role & Responsibility of Vidyut Sahayak
The candidate chosen for the post of Junior Engineer in GSECL will be posted in TPS under the jurisdiction of GSECL and will be assigned work on a requirement basis. The following is the detailed job description:
- Responsible for the proper operation of a specific part of the plant.
- Responsible for keeping the plant and its auxiliary equipment in good working order.
- Supervise maintenance activities and handle break-down situations in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Job responsibilities also include completing a large amount of paperwork and maintaining important documents related to work activities.
