The educational qualification for the DSSSB JE exam is given below. You must take note that you should have the educational qualification in the relevant discipline for which you are applying. 

• You must have obtained a Degree in Electrical/ Civil Engineering from a recognized University by the Central Government. 

OR

• You should have obtained a three years Diploma in Electrical/ Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Board/ Institute
• You must have at least two years of experience in planning, execution and maintenance of Electrical/ Civil Engineering works.

The age limit to apply for the DSSSB JE 2022 recruitment varies for the Civil and Electrical posts as per the department for which a candidate wants to apply. The upper and lower age limit for the DSSSB JE civil and electrical post as per the department is given below in the table.

DSSSB has allowed age relaxation for the following category of candidates as mentioned below in the table. 

Candidates who have obtained a B. Tech /B. E. do not need work experience. However, candidates who have completed their diploma must have the following work experience:

• Diploma candidates must have 2 years of work experience in the electrical/civil engineering field to apply for any of the posts in the DSSSB JE recruitment.
