DSSSB JE Notification 2022 has been released by the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) on its official website. DSSSB has released a total of 691 vacancies for the DSSSB JE Civil & Electrical Engineering posts. The board has now announced the exam dates for DSSSB JE for the Electrical & Civil posts.

The selection process for the DSSB JE recruitment will be done through an online exam (CBT) comprising of two tiers, Tier 1 & Tier 2. DSSSB JE 2021 Vacancies

DSSSB has released a total of 93 vacancies for DSSSB JE 2021 for Mechanical/Electrical Engineers in the Delhi Jal Board and New Delhi Municipal Council. We have provided you with the category wise DSSSB JE vacancies below in the table.

Part 1: Registration for DSSSB JE

The DSSSB JE Registration process is for those candidates who never applied on DSSSB for any recruitment. Given below are the steps to register for the DSSSB JE exam.

• Visit the official website of DSSSB and click on the DSSSB JE recruitment link.
• Click on the New Registration link and fill in the particulars.
• Once you have filled in, click on the submit button.
• Set a password according to your choice.
• A Registration number will be sent to your email id and phone number.
• Log in using the DSSSB Registration Id, date of birth, 10th roll number, and password.

Part 2: Log in for DSSSB JE

• Candidates having the DSSSB JE registration number and password can log in using their DSSSB Registration Id, date of birth, 10th roll number, and password.
• Fill in the application form for DSSSB JE 2022 Exam.
• Upload the required documents, such as your photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, right-hand thumb impression.
• Pay the required amount of fee.
• Take the printout of the DSSSB JE Application form for future use.

Application Fee for DSSSB Junior Engineer Exam

The application fee for DSSSB JE 2022 Exam is as follows. The application fee has to be paid only through online mode.

Candidates who will be appointed as Junior Engineer in the DSSSB will receive a pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay 4200/- in Group: 'B'.

The DSSSB JE eligibility criteria 2022  is given below:

Educational Qualification for DSSSB JE Civil & Electrical Post

• You must have obtained a Degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute. 

OR

• You should have obtained a Three years Diploma in Electrical/ Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Board/ Institute
• You must have at least two years of experience in planning, execution and maintenance of Electrical/ Civil Engineering works.

Age Limit for DSSSB JE 

You must be between 18 years to 30 years of age to apply for DSSSB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2022. The upper age limit varies as per the department for which a candidate applies. Age Relaxation is, however, applicable as given below.

Age Relaxation for DSSSB Junior Engineer 

The selection process for the DSSSB JE 2022 is a two-tier process as given below:

Tier 1: Tier 1 of the DSSSB JE exam will have two parts, one part has 5 sections and another part will be a Subject/ Qualification Related paper.

Tier 2: The Tier 2 of the DSSSB JE Exam will have two papers, one related to the core engineering paper while the other will be to evaluate the ability for application of concepts, problem-solving capacity, ability to comprehend the context and apply them.

• Tier I exam of the DSSSB JE exam will be used for the purpose of screening only.
• On the other hand, Tier II marks will have a great deal of importance as it will be used to for the purpose of selection into DSSSB as Junior Engineer.

The DSSSB JE Exam Pattern for the Civil/Electrical Engineer is given below in the table for Tier I and tier II. 

DSSSB JE Tier 1 Exam Pattern

The DSSSB Junior Engineer Exam will have two papers in Tier I as given below. 

• The DSSSB JE Tier 1 will have objective Multiple Choice Questions set in both English and Hindi medium. 
• There will be 5 sections in Part A each consisting of 20 marks.
• On the other hand, the Subject/Qualification Related Paper will be 100 marks.
• The duration of the exam is 2 hours for a total of 200 marks paper.
• 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
• There is a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer marked by you in the DSSSB Paper for the JE 2022 exam.

DSSSB JE Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2022

Candidates who will obtain the cut off marks in the DSSSB JE Tier 1 exam will be called to appear for the Tier 2 of the recruitment process. 

• DSSSB JE Tier 2 exam will have two parts.
• The Part A of DSSSB Junior Engineer tier 2 will have a 100 marks paper having questions related to the Subject/Qualification Related Paper.
• Part B will have to evaluate your basic knowledge for 100 marks.
• Thus, DSSSB JE Tier 2 will be of 200 marks.
• A penalty of 0.25 mark will be there for each incorrect answer marked by you.

Candidates who will apply successfully for the DSSSB JE 2022 Exam will be issued DSSSB JE Admit Card. The DSSSB JE Admit Card will have to be downloaded from the official website of DSSSB. You need to log in by providing your registration number, date of birth and password to download the DSSSB JE Admit Card 2022.

After the completion of the DSSB JE Exam 2022, the Board will announce the answer key along with the response sheet on its website. The candidates who will appear for the DSSSB JE CBT will only be able to check the answer key from the official website of DSSSB. 

The candidates can also raise an objection against the DSSSB Junior Engineer provisional answer key within the given date. With the help of the answer key, you will be able to know the probable marks. 

The DSSSB JE Result 2022 will be released separately for Tier 1 and Tier 2. The DSSSB JE Result will be available for download in PDF. Candidates who will qualify for the DSSSB Junior Engineer Tier I will be called to appear for the Tier II exam.
