The DSSSB AE Exam Pattern 2022 is specified by the exam conducting body which is the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) in its official notification. The candidates who will be appearing for the DSSSB AE recruitment should check out the detailed paper pattern with the subject wise marking scheme as per the latest notification that has been released. 

The DSSSB AE exam is a two-tier computer-based test (CBT). Tier 1 of the DSSSB AE exam is the CBT 1 which is the screening round while Tier 2 is the CBT 2 which is used for preparing the merit list of the candidates. Candidates who will qualify Tier 1 will be eligible to appear for Tier 2 exam. Further, CBT 1 is of 2 hours duration while CBT 2 is of 3 hours. DSSSB AE Exam Pattern for Tier 1: CBT 1

The first stage of the selection process for the DSSSB AE exam is the tier 1 exam which is Computer Based Test 1 exam. The DSSSB AE CBT 1 is the screening round that is used to filter the candidates for the next stage of the selection process. Let us explain to you the detailed paper pattern for the DSSSB Assistant Engineer exam for CBT 1. 

• All the questions in the DSSSB AE CBT 1 shall be objective questions. 
• There will be two sections in the DSSSB AE CBT 1, section A and section B of 100 marks each. 
• Section B will have questions based on your educational qualification, i.e. Civil and Electrical Engineering papers. 
• The total marks for the CBT 1 paper is 200 marks. 
• For each correct answer you will be awarded 1 mark which for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks shall be deducted. 
• The questions paper for the DSSSB Assistant Engineer shall be bilingual, i.e. in Hindi and English.

DSSSB Assistant Engineer Exam Pattern for Tier 2: CBT 2

The second stage of the DSSSB Assistant Engineer exam is the CBT 2 paper. The candidates who will obtain the cut off marks in the DSSSB AE CBT 1 will be called to appear for the CBT 2 paper. The DSSSB Assistant Engineer paper 2 is of great importance to all the candidates. The marks used in the DSSSB AE Tier 2 exam shall be used to determine the merit list of the candidates. Thus, you would be required to score higher marks in this paper. 

• The DSSSB AE CBT 2 shall be of 300 marks in total with 2 parts/sections. 
• Part 1 will have questions based on your educational qualification while part 2 will test your concepts of solving problems and comprehending texts. 
• The DSSSB AE CBT 2 paper shall have only objective type of questions. 
• There will a total of 200 questions in the Tier 2 exam. 
• 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer marked by you while 1 mark will be awarded. 
• The question paper shall be set in both English and Hindi language.

DSSSB AE Document Verification & Medical Examination

The last stage of the DSSSB AE recruitment 2022 is document verification and medical examination. The successful candidates from the DSSSB AE tier 2 exam will be called to appear for the DV and medical test. All the candidates must ensure that they are medically fit and carry all the required documents in original to the DV centre. 

After the completion of all the stages of DSSSB Asst. Engg. the examination process, a merit list shall be prepared of the candidates approved for an appointment. 

DSSSC Assistant Engineer Cut Off 2022

DSSSB has specified the cut off marks or the minimum qualifying marks that the candidates will have to obtain in CBT 1 and CBT 2. Given below is the DSSSB AE Cut Off 2022 as specified by the DSSSB.
