APPSC AE Selection Process 2022
The APPSC AE Selection Process 2022 is notified by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) for the most prestigious exams, APPSC Assistant Engineer (APPSC AE) in the official notification. The APPSC AE exam is one of the most crucial and major exams for which candidates from over the country apply. The APPSC AE selection is primarily done through the following stages:
- Stage 1: APPSC AE Written Exam to be held in online mode
- Stage 2: APPSC AE Document Verification (DV)
The candidates will have to qualify each stage to be able to be appointed as Assistant Engineer in APPSC. APPSC AE Selection Process for Written Exam: CBT
The APPSC AE written exam is the 1st step towards the selection process for the APPSC AE recruitment. The CBT for APPSC AE is the most crucial part of the selection process as your merit list will be decided through this stage itself. So you would need to prepare yourself in the best possible manner to achieve higher scores.
If you do not appear for the APPSC AE CBT, then your selection will be cancelled and you will not be given another chance to take the APPSC AE 2022 CBT, i.e. your candidature will be disqualified for the 2022 exam.

Document Verification for APPSC AE
The candidates who will obtain the cut off marks in the APPSC AE objective test will be called to appear for the document verification. All the original documents of your educational qualification, proof of age, caste certificate (if any), sports certificate (if any) will be scrutinized by the officials. You will be required to produce the original documents along with a photocopy of the same at the time of the APPSC AE DV process.
APPSC AE Qualifying Marks
APPSC has notified the qualifiying marks or the cut off marks as per the category of the candidates. You must note that merely securing the qualifying marks in the CBT of APPSC Asst. Engg. exam does not guarantee you a selection as the selection will be done on merit basis.

Final Selection Criteria for APPSC AE Recruitment
The final selection of the candidates for the APPSC AE recruitment will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in the CBT and documents verification. Candidates must obtain more marks than the APPSC AE cut off marks to be in the merit list.
